The company also took action against approximately 500,000 accounts for inauthentic behavior by demoting comments and limiting content distribution to reduce monetization. The move coincides with CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s announcement of major AI investments, including a new supercluster slated for next year. The action comes as platforms like YouTube also move to limit monetization of repetitive, low-quality content.
