00:00In our first story for today, U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to impose 100%
00:05secondary tariffs on Russia unless a peace deal with Ukraine is reached within 50 days.
00:11The announcement came during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Root at the White House.
00:17It's a horrible war and it should be stopped. And so if it's not done, if we don't have an
00:22agreement in 50 days, that's what we're doing, secondary tariffs, and they're biting. And I hope
00:30we don't get to the point where we do, but I've been hearing so much talk. It's all talk. It's all
00:35talk and then missiles go into Kiev and kill 60 people. It's got to stop. Speaking to reporters,
00:45Trump reiterated his disappointment in Russian President Vladimir Putin. He added that NATO
00:50would coordinate the latest distribution of weapons to Ukraine, including Patriot missile
00:55systems expected to be delivered within days. Separately, Trump's special envoy to Ukraine,
01:01Keith Kellogg, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday. The two discussed
01:06strengthening air defenses, joint arms production, and sanctions, with Zelensky describing the talks
01:12as productive.
01:13We had a very good conversation with General just now, and thank you.
