00:00hi guys and welcome to drive spark i'm from it and what you see behind me is the all-new tesla

00:11showroom india's first showroom and we are at bkc in mumbai and we have come to check out the model

00:17y and we have some specifications of the car as of now you can see that the car on the inside it is

00:23covered but we'll give you a glimpse of the car as well so first of all the model y has been launched

00:28and the pricing of the model y there are two variants of the model y so model y uh there is

00:34the short range and then there is the model y lr that is the long range if you talk about pricing

00:3959.9 lakh extra room is what the price starts for the model y that is for the short range and the

00:46long range one is almost 68.9 lakh rupees well you also have an optional pack where you pay 6 lakh

00:52rupees and you get the full autonomous driving mode but that is separate you also have color options

00:57in the tesla there are six color options but in the color options you obviously have to pay an extra

01:03though the price starts at rupees 85 000 for uh some colors and goes all the way up to the 1 lakh 85

01:09000 mark if you are if you want a different color for your tesla then obviously you will have to shell

01:15out more so we'll quickly go inside the showroom and we will check out the cars if we talk about the

01:19range of the car so the uh short range version can give around 500 kilometers uh on one single charge

01:27and if you talk about the long range version it's almost around 622 kilometers on one single charge

01:32details are very less uh 0 to 100 for the short range version is around 5.9 seconds and for the

01:39long-range version is uh 5.6 seconds both are rear wheel drive there is no all-wheel drive as of now

01:45so we will just now go inside the showroom and we will check out just let me quickly show you what is

01:51happening so this is basically the showroom it is in bkc mumbai and as you can see right now that

01:58the cars over here are covered so there are two colors one is a white and one is a red over there

02:05there's a lot of power over here there's a screen right over there where it is showing the remote

02:10access with tesla app if you can just read it a little bit so you have controls you have pre-conditioning

02:17you have charging and obviously it this is also showing some range you can see over there let me

02:22just clear the glass quickly here you go so that is one car and one car is over there so

02:32here you go tesla has finally come to india and this is the showroom we are at bkc over here a lot

02:39of crowd and everyone is waiting to go inside and check out the cars we have very scarce information

02:45pricing wise once again let me tell you so there are two models of this uh uh the model y

02:51one is a rear wheel drive and one is a rear wheel drive long range so pricing wise as i mentioned uh

02:57almost uh 59 lakh rupees uh x showroom is what it starts and almost 69 lakh rupees is what it goes for

03:03the long range version 500 kilometers on the short range version on a single charge and almost 622

03:10kilometers on one single charge for the long range version 5.9 seconds for the short range and 5.6

03:17seconds from 0 to 100 for the long range version very soon we'll be going inside and we'll be checking
