00:44at ang chairman at CEO ng San Miguel Corporation na si Ramon Ang,
00:49na kaagapay ng pamalaan sa proyekto sa pamamagitan ng Megawide Construction Corporation.
00:55Well, this is a very important thing.
00:57As Chairman Ramon has clearly laid out,
01:03this is what we could refer to as a much-awaited project
01:08dahil ang dami-daming pinagdaanan, nasimulaan, natigil, nalipat,
01:14maraming pagbabago tayo umabot dito sa araw na ito.
01:20Ngunit, nandito na tayo.
01:22We are very happy and we are all very excited
01:24that we are slowly putting together the building blocks
01:30of our policy of opening up our areas,
01:36tourist areas, our business areas,
01:38to international travelers without having to go through the Manila Airport.

01:52nandito na lang, diretsyo na sila dito sa Katiklan.

01:58they can go around and see all of the tourist destinations.

02:43Tourism right now contributes close to 8% to our GDP.
02:48And that is something that we want to increase.
02:51And that is why these projects that we have
02:55are also very important.
02:56We are doing the same things for many regional airports.
03:00We have been talking about Iloilo.
03:05We have made agreements in Buhol, in Siargao.
03:12And there will be others more.

04:33o kailangan magkaroon ng negotiation.
04:34At we always turn to local governments to help us.
04:40And once again, that has been fruitful.
04:43And it just goes to show,
04:44exactly like the governor has said,
04:46when the national government,
04:47the local government,
04:48and the private sector work together,
04:51hand in hand,
04:52not opposite sides,
04:53but hand in hand,
04:55this is what we can achieve.
04:57So we look forward to many, many more of this.
