00:00The journey back to Hogwarts begins now. Production has started on the HBO original

00:04Harry Potter television series, which is set to premiere on HBO and HBO Max in 2027,

00:10and a first look behind the scenes has been revealed. In a brand new photo, fans can see

00:15Dominic McLaughlin, whose casting was announced in May. Dressed in character for the titular role

00:20in Harry's signature glasses, robe, and hairstyle, child actor will be joined by fellow previously

00:26announced newcomers Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alistair Stout as Ron Weasley.

00:32The July 14th announcement included more casting news, including the addition of Rory Wilmot

00:37as fellow Gryffindor Neville Longbottom and Amos Kitson as Harry's muggle cousin Dudley Dursley.

00:42They also shared more of the adult actors who will round out the cast, including Sherlock's

00:47Louise Brealey will play flying instructor Madam Rolanda Hooch, and Andrew's Anton Lester will

00:52play expert wandmaker Garrick Ollivander. The series' executive producers have previously

00:57shared their enthusiasm regarding the casting of Hogwarts' most iconic trio. Executive producers

01:03Francesca Gardner and Mark Myloid shared in a statement as part of the network's May 27th
