00:00P.K.R. is currently reviewing calls for disciplinary action against nine of its members of parliament,
00:08following their public demand for a royal commission of inquiry into judicial matters.
00:14P.K.R. Secretary-General Datuk Dr. Fuzia Saleh confirmed that the party is also considering
00:20calls for the temporary suspension of the MPs involved, pending an internal investigation.
00:27She said that an official report will be tabled at the Central Leadership Council meeting,
00:32scheduled to take place in two weeks.
00:35Fuzia added that the report would be evaluated based on the party's code of ethics
00:39to determine whether any rules were breached.
00:42The controversy erupted after former P.K.R. Deputy President Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli
00:48and eight other MPs held a press conference urging the government to establish both a Royal Commission
00:54of Inquiry and a Parliamentary Special Select Committee on Judicial Appointments.
