00:00Hey, what's up guys? Welcome back to the channel. In today's video, I'll be showing you step-by-step how to actually do cross-chain swaps using Zerion Web3 wallet.

01:00So let's get started with how we can actually just perform simple swaps using Zerion.
01:07So what really strikes me about Zerion is the fact that it is actually one wallet that stands out as a smart crypto wallet that helps users easily bridge assets within the realm of Web3.
01:26So also covering not only DeFi, but also NFTs and transforming kind of your normal phone into effectively a central hub for your Web3 operations and just making it possible for you to purchase, sale and trade crypto assets and NFTs with a wallet that is simply designed for ease of use.
01:51And also has a flay and a touch of something that appeals to the crypto degens and there are over 300k individuals who've already started using Zerion to date.
02:05And, you know, this is something that we should all really be using as a tool if you want to be successful in this market.
02:14So with this crypto wallet, you're able to actually also not explore only Web3, but also you can kind of check niche cap tokens, flagship DeFi projects, DAOs and governance and NFTs and those communities.
02:30And with the wallet, you actually have exposure to assets that span over 500 protocols, including ETH, USDC and USDT, AVAX, Optimism, Matic, BNB, among others.

02:50And it also introduces a personal crypto social feed that allows you to follow any wallet and keep abreast of NFT trends or alpha leaks and to also just discover just crypto assets that whales are purchasing.
03:05So this is kind of a strategy that I personally like to use, tracking what other big players are doing by simply following the crypto wallets.
03:14And with this feature, actually, you can tailor your crypto social feed, just making sure, you know, visibility into the trades or the mints or just kind of dial votes are shown to you in real time.
03:29They also have something called Zerion DNA, which is a distinct dynamic NFT that evolves with every on-chain action performed by you as a user.
03:40So it is something that's aiming for a seamless multi-feature and Zerion does facilitate trading across over 10 blockchain networks, including Polygon, Ethereum, Binance, Phantom, Arbitrum, Optimism, Aurora, Gnosis Chain, Avalanche and Solana.
04:00And also if you want to just be able to kind of keep track of your portfolio analytics or just your transaction histories, Zerion actually simplifies your crypto management in terms of just your investments by automatically giving you profit and loss calculations
04:20based on those positions based on those positions based on the time that you purchased the particular assets, also just the network fee estimates that you kind of just making sure you understand how much you actually spent on fees
04:31to be able to be able to come up with really accurate kind of P&L numbers there.
04:36You can have access to historical performance and data, which just makes it possible for you to easily track your investments as well without kind of going all the way to Etherscan, for example.
04:47So what I do like is that they also emphasize user sovereignty.
04:52That means, you know, just ensuring that users have full control of the assets and keys and personal data.
05:00So it's a non-custodial platform and a wallet.
05:04And, you know, they have a commitment to not cross-associating wallet addresses as well and just kind of making sure your privacy is kept intact.
05:15So now let's do the step-by-step how to cross swap using Zerion.
05:20OK, so first, you just need to connect to your Web3 wallet for this demonstration.
05:25I will be swapping USDC for Fantom, which is FTM token.
05:31And I'm going to do this on the same network.
05:36So make sure, you know, you have the network that is actually the one that you want to use added to your wallet.
05:42In this case, I'm on Fantom.
05:44So you can see here I've got the information for Fantom.
05:49I'm going to switch from Polygon where I was before.
05:52So a wallet like MetaMask, for example, is something that I like to use, especially for doing swaps, even when you're using the Zerion web browser,
06:02because it just allows you to set your spending cap and approve the asset first for swapping, which is USDC here, like we said.
06:12So as you can see, I'm just going to do a microtransaction for demo here.
06:16A little bit of USDC and we're going to get some Fantom tokens for that.
06:22Once the gas is paid, the swap just gets initiated.
06:28And you can see once your trade is successful, get a confirmation.
06:33You can see the assets right there.
06:35So this is how easy it is to use Zerion and kind of be able to have all these other tools at your disposal, kind of portfolio management tools,
06:49historical data in terms of your transaction history, kind of understanding your P&L figures.
06:55And at the end of the day, what I like about Zerion is it's non-custodial.
07:00So it means that you're always in control of your funds and also whatever network fees or fees that they charge on top are really negligible.
07:09They are sourcing liquidity from multiple DEXs and aggregators to give you the best price for your swaps.
