00:10With the new round of tariffs looming, ASEAN is committing to hustling harder together,

00:14with more intra-ASEAN trade and a digital economy deal in the works.

00:18In security, ASEAN is in its influencer era.

00:21China agreed, no nukes, no cap.

00:24Beijing will sign the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon Free Zone Treaty with zero reservations.

00:29And Moscow might be on board too.

00:34US, China, Russia all in the house with America's new top dog, Marco Rubio,

00:38trying to calm nerves after their new tariff announcement failed the vibe check.

00:42In a wild plot twist, he even met China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines.

00:49Rumor has it that Trump may also make a surprise cameo at the ASEAN summit in October.

01:00We're working on getting a date for that, absolutely.

01:02But Rubio basically told ASEAN to chill on the tariffs,

01:06saying they won't backfire on the US or mess up the vibes with ASEAN.

01:10Moving on, Algeria and Uruguay hopped on the ASEAN friendship train,

01:14with officially signing the Treaty of Amity and cooperation.

01:17Big please be our BFF energy from all sides,

01:20especially as everyone's pushing to finally lock down a code of conduct in the South China Sea to keep the peace.

01:26ASEAN leaders also sent a clear message on Myanmar.

01:30There should be no elections held until conditions of the five-point consensus are fulfilled.
