00:00I wrote an R32 at West TV, and now here we are in the eight-backers of Brayson.
00:05Here's some of the things that we're going to do with modern machinery.
00:15It's a big night, it's a big night.
00:22Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
00:30Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
00:33Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, have you lone.
00:38ky
00:40Karey is six whole day of myntyre to the Jacketau Uh,
00:42the one only, Mr. Der Ifeld.
00:50Well, it was very good.
00:53Huh.
00:55I know.
00:57доп.
00:58yeah.
01:30I was somebody for the future.
01:32Then in the middle of the second season, he just sort of said, that's it, I'm stopping racing.
01:37So Jackie X, myself, Chris Amon, were just out of the park and Apertine pulled away.
01:43I was okay, I remember like that.
01:44So 1968, 69, that's my racing career over with.
01:49But I've never missed that for the world because it was probably the greatest experience I've ever had.
01:54I used to be the greatest man in the world.
01:55I mean, the reality is trying to do it, but what you had in the world is you gave a full-time debut in a Ferrari at Monza.
02:04Now, there's so many people on this planet who get even links to that, in a Ferrari bike at Monza being a bunch of greats.
02:14How did you feel just lining up in amongst the difficulty there, the expectations of all the Ferrari fans?
02:23Well, I think it started again, he said to me, that I don't know in Formula 2, I won the first race, the second race in Holland.
02:31And he said, we want to put you in the Formula 1 car, so I went to the test track.
02:34Because I remember a powerful game, he did up the seatbelts, and he said, if you crash the car, the last time I've ever had the car.
02:43And in your green car, you'll never have a left car again.
02:47With that, he pulled up the seatbelts, first time I've ever used belts.
02:51And we also had wings on the car, first time I've ever had aerodynamics like that.
02:55And so I go off to do my laps, and as I go down the first long, fast end, there's Enzo sitting in his 2 plus 2 watching me.
03:05And it was pivoting the brain, and I thought, oh no, I just got the young man watching me.
03:10He said, how fast do you go?
03:11Anyway, that's the beginning.
03:13The next thing is, I mean, we have a golf corner on the car, but then of course we came to the Italian Grand Prix.
03:18And I qualified it.
03:19And I was on the third row next to Jackie Stewart.
03:26So I was impressed with my performance, although I didn't really think that they should have been on the front.
