00:55and Undersecretary Alan Hefty, will be flying to the United States next week.
01:01This is actually a scheduled trip to the United States even before today's announcement.
01:06So there will be meetings next week amongst the trade representatives ng Amerika po at ng Pilipinas.
01:14Kabilang sa isusunong ng pamahalan, ang bilateral comprehensive economic agreement o ang posibleng free trade agreement
01:21para mas makabuo pa ng mas sustainable na trade partnership.
01:26Sa kabila ng naging hakbang ng US, sinabi ni Go, ang 20% na itinakda ng US ay pangalawang pinakamababa, sumunod sa 10% ng Singapore.
01:36I binahagi ni Go, piling mga produkto lamang ang sakop ng 20% na taripa.
01:42Our number one export sa Amerika ay semiconductors and electronics.
01:46And as of today, a very, very large part of that is exempted from the reciprocal tariffs.
01:53So although nag-a-announce ang may mga feelers po galing sa Amerika na they are studying this,
02:00whether they will continue to keep them tariff-free or lalagyan po nila ng tariffs.
02:07Pero ang good news po sa atin sa ngayon ay karamihan ng ating exports ng semiconductors ay hindi covered ng tariffs.
02:16Tiniyak naman ang pamahalaan na gumagawa ng hakbang para mapalago ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas.
