Mahmoud Khalil Sues Trump Admin For $20 Million Over Alleged False Imprisonment, Report Says

Mahmoud Khalil, the 30-year-old Columbia University student and pro-Palestinian activist, filed a claim Thursday requesting $20 million in damages from the Trump administration, accusing the federal government of false imprisonment after Khalil was detained for months in Louisiana, the Associated Press reported.
