00:00I bet y'all don't know this, and I just learned it, but America's sweetheart is from none other
00:03than Birmingham, Alabama. Not only is Uncle Baby Billy or Rick or the ghoul from the great state
00:09of Alabama, he was raised in Georgia, ultimate southern boy, in a little town called Lithia
00:14Springs, Georgia, which is about 20 minutes outside of Atlanta. I just found out you're
00:17from Alabama. What's next? Turns out he grew up in an 1850s farmhouse. He actually started working
00:21at age 12. Also attended Georgia Southern University. Go Eagles! Don't tell Evie. And
00:26rather than trying to escape his southerness as he entered his career, he actually embraced it.
00:29He won an Academy Award for a 2001 short film that he made called The Accountant, about
00:34an accountant that comes and helps a family farm. And this was actually shot in Covington,
00:39Georgia. You smell that? I smell southern inspiration. Another super southern thing about him, not
00:43even going to guess this one, he makes his own whiskey. Yes, he has his own whiskey distillerate.
00:48Cute name. That's the most southern thing I've ever heard in my life. You're making your own
00:50whiskey shit? If you're just learning about this admittedly fine southern specimen, one, where
00:54have you been? Two, welcome, come come, you've come to the right lane. To everyone else out there
00:57who's been equally obsessed with, enamored, can't stop singing, Mama told me not to, I did it anyway.
01:02Or non-stop liking Walton Coggins Instagram because what's he gonna do next? All I know
01:07is it must come out tomorrow so I can start binging it ASAP.
