00:00Jonny, let's start with you.
00:02So we heard from Donald Trump there some choice language
00:04when he was talking about Vladimir Putin.
00:07But Russia has sort of turbocharged its attack on Ukraine,
00:13and that was the early hours of this morning, Wednesday morning.
00:17Is this all down to those comments from Donald Trump?
00:21Did it cause a retaliation from Vladimir Putin?
00:24Although it seems that way on the surface,
00:26because experts are saying that it requires a lot of time,
00:29a lot of effort to put into this as well.
00:31We're looking at 728 drones,
00:34and quite a number of those were intercepted,
00:3613 missiles as well.
00:38And something on that scale requires weeks of preparation in advance.
00:42So it's unlikely that this is a knee-jerk reaction to Donald Trump's comments.
00:47Now, obviously this is now causing confusion.
00:49The U.S. position will be rechecked once again,
00:52because Russia could see this as an opportunity to escalate
00:54what's happening in Ukraine.
00:55Eyes have been off of Ukraine for just a while,
00:58because we've been dealing with the peace talks between Netanyahu and Donald Trump.
01:02So experts will say otherwise,
01:05although on the surface of it,
01:06yes, it does kind of look like it's a knee-jerk reaction,
01:08but it will have taken many, many weeks of planning
01:10in order to be able to actually execute an attack on this scale.
01:14And I think it's been done intentionally.
01:17I think it's to try and get eyes back once again to reassert dominance
01:20and say, have you forgotten that this is also still something that's going on?
01:24And Trump seems to be taking no prisoners when it comes to his comments about Putin as well.
01:28And a much harder stance is what we're seeing this time around.
