00:00my pleasure thank you very much thank you again fantastic we'll put it up in a place of honor
00:05i don't know maybe we can uh let's see we have to put it up there someplace
00:10told you when former president ronald dragon was in office and uh it's very sad with what's going
00:17on we both feel that way uh what's going on with uh russia ukraine and other things we talk about
00:24but russia ukraine in particular i'd like to see it end and maybe it'll end but
00:28uh we get some news there'll be some fighting uh something happened a couple of days ago and now
00:35they do a return and you know here it goes it's not good where he's unhappy about it i'm unhappy about
00:41it but uh i think eventually we're going to be successful in stopping the bloodshed it's pure
00:46bloodshed five six thousand young soldiers a week are being killed that's in very good shape we like
00:54fixing things up and having them tippy top like they have in germany that's a bloodbath that's
00:59going on over there and when i see the moment where i say well they're going to just keep fighting
01:06you know i gave the analogy yesterday when i spoke to president put i had a two hour and 15 minute call
01:12with him sometimes and this is me speaking maybe in a negative sense but sometimes you see two young
01:21children fighting like crazy they hate each other and they're fighting in a park and you try and pull
01:27them apart they don't want to be pulled sometimes you're better off letting them fight for a while
01:32and then pulling them apart and i gave that analogy to putin yesterday i said president maybe you're
01:41going to have to keep fighting and suffering a lot because both sides are suffering before you pull them
01:47apart before they're able to be pulled apart but it's a pretty known uh analogy you have two kids
01:53they fight fight fight sometimes you let them fight for a little while you see it in hockey you see it in
01:58sports the referees let them go for a couple of seconds let them go for a little while
02:04before you pull them apart and maybe maybe and i said it and maybe that's a negative because we're saying
02:10go but uh a lot of bad blood there's some bad blood between the two i have to deal with it and
02:18the chancellor has to deal with it it's incredible the level of there's a great hatred between those two
02:24between those two men uh but between the warring parties great hatred thank you it's a wonderful
02:32place it's a landmark also you know he was he attacked and they attacked pretty harshly
02:39they went deep into russia and he actually told me i mean i i made it very clear he said we have no
02:47choice but to attack based on that and it's probably not going to be pretty i don't like it i said don't
02:54do it you shouldn't do it you should stop it but uh again there's a lot of hatred don't have things
03:01under control and why now i can say that it can't come soon enough frankly remember this
03:09they like to say that i'm friends with i'm not friends with anybody i'm friends with you
03:14i'm not friends with it i want the right thing to happen for our country for everybody for humanity
03:20but i'm the one that stopped the pipeline it's called nordstrom 2 until i came along nobody ever
03:24heard not one person in this room ever heard of nordstrom 2 you probably did because it went to
03:29germany he's the only one that this was a mistake but i stopped him i stopped it yeah and you've said
03:35that openly yeah it was a mistake because and i used to go with angela i'd say well wait a minute
03:40we're spending all this money to defend you against russia and then you're giving russia billions of
03:46dollars a month what kind of a deal is that you know which was uh but you said it better than anybody
03:51else i appreciate it but i'm the one that stopped it and that was the biggest economic development
03:57job if you want to call it that in the history think of it in the history of russia that was a
04:02massive it's the biggest pipeline in the world going to go all over europe not only to germany you know
04:08they're germany but then they were branching off all over to europe nobody ever heard of not one person
04:13of you heard of it and i stopped it it was dead and then they say i'm friends with putin
04:19i got along with him he respected me i respected him it would have never happened but i stopped
04:24nordstrom too when biden came in almost the first week he approved it he let it be built and then
04:32they say that i wasn't tough on russia putin said to me you know you're not tough on russia you stopped
04:38the biggest most important job we've ever done you stopped it two great leaders of the world in a very
04:44short period of time uh i'm here mr president to talk with you later on on how we could uh contribute
04:52to to that goal and we all are looking for uh measures and for instruments to bring this terrible
05:01war to an end and may i remind you that we are having june 6 tomorrow this is d-day anniversary
05:10when the americans once ended a war in europe and i think this is in your hand in specific in ours
05:18that was not a pleasant day for you no that was not a pleasant well in the long run mr president this
05:24was the liberation of my country from nazi nazi dictatorship so it's true and we we know what
05:31we owe you but this is the reason why i'm i'm saying that america is again in a very strong position
05:37to do something on this war and ending this war i wouldn't even say finalizing it up scott i would
05:43say we have a deal and we're going to just make sure that everybody understands what the deal is
