00:05One of the things I heard whilst knocking on doors in Hazelmere is that people were really angry and frustrated at the state of Petworth Road in Hazelmere, which is where I am now.
00:16The council had been promising for ages to sort out the terrible issues on this road. This road is incredibly dangerous to driving.
00:24The council even promised to resurface the road at one point and told the local residents they would do it, only to say later on that they couldn't due to drainage issues.
00:33Now, thanks in part to the Hazelmere Herald, we have a date for those drainage issues to start.
00:39In middle of August, this road is going to get, according to them, a robust drainage solution which will help them then resurface it.
00:46I just want to say thank you to local residents, to your local councillor, John Ravini, and also all the support that the Herald have given us in getting this data.
