00:05It looks a lot like their former jerseys, but of course, you'll see on the far right,

00:10it is the updated logo and the updated team name, just in case you were peering and looking

00:16for something.

00:18The Super Bowl era uniform fit for old DC, as you will see there.

00:23The Commanders will wear this uniform three times on Sunday night football week nine,

00:28week 13, and against their bitter divisional foes, the Dallas Cowboys, week 17 on Christmas.

00:36Look, as we evolve as a society, things can't stay the same.

00:40We've seen that all throughout our culture here, right?

00:42But understand this, like rebranding of teams is a big deal, whether you're just changing

00:46the color, changing the team name.

00:48Sometimes it's hard to get used to.

00:50Like you trip me up talking about the athletics all the time.

00:53Sacramento, no, not really.

00:54I want to call them Oakland.

00:55Heck, I still call the Oakland Raiders the Raiders, as opposed to the Las Vegas Raiders.

00:59And same thing, it took, how long did it take for the San Diego Chargers rebuild or rebrand

01:03to the LA Chargers?

01:04I mean, that was one of the hardest ones to absolutely go about.

01:07Now, also in Major League Baseball, the Indians go to the Guardians.

01:09Guardians is a terrible name.

01:11It's stupid, but you just have to accept it at this point.

01:14Now, throughout history, like Washington and their former name, which was the Redskins

01:18here, was, you can't have that anymore.

01:20We understand that.

01:21But the rebrand of this team was embarrassing.

01:23Like the Washington football team, I would pull my hair out because of how stupid that

01:28was.

01:28You can come up with a new team name in a matter of seconds and get that right.

01:32But the fact that they went with the Washington football team really got to me here.

01:36But understand this, the rebrand to the Commanders, I don't love the name, but it's just, you know,

01:40like the Guardians, it's a terrible name.

01:41The Commanders is an awful name.

01:43But understand this, the rebranding also included, let's change the uniform and go a little bit

01:48different of red colors and burgundy colors.

01:50The Washington uniform has been atrocious since the name change.

01:54One of the worst in football, the most iconic uniforms you probably have in the NFL, down

01:59to the bottom of the trash heap that you probably didn't even want to buy a jersey if you're

02:02a Commanders fan.

02:03And it's, okay, here comes the rebrand.

02:05What's your logo?

02:06Like, what do you go by?

02:07Like, you know, the Eagle helmet that they have, the Rams helmet, like they're the Vikings

02:10helmet.

02:11Let's slap a computerized W that looked like it was from like Microsoft Paint of the 1990s.

02:17And that's what we'll go with, like the worst rebranding that you can have.

02:21So the uniforms were terrible.

02:22And now I see today, you know what?

02:24New ownership comes in.

02:26Magic Johnson of the boys, Josh Harris.

02:27You got your quarterback.

02:28You have a fantastic head coach.

02:31You bring an electric coordinator.

02:32You have an ugly stadium, which in a couple of years is going to turn into something brand

02:35new.

02:36It's sort of a rebirth in Washington out of love.

02:38Now, here's what gets on my nerves.

02:40You go back to the old uniforms, which are sensational here.

02:43You leave the stupid W on the helmet, which gets me upset.

02:46But you know what else gets me upset, Ben?

02:48Can you guess?

02:49Like, what would be making me upset about this beautiful uniform that they have?

02:54Can you maybe answer that question for me?

02:56What do you think it is?

02:57Like, what's getting me upset right now?

02:59I would, the only thing that I would think of, DRS, is the absence of an old logo.

03:06But you said that is not the case.

03:08So what exactly is getting you upset, Mr. Fashion Police?

03:12Yeah, I'll get to the helmet and how I want the change to be made in a few moments.

03:15But here's the thing that gets me upset.

03:17Your uniform right now, Washington, sucks.

03:20It's ugly.

03:21It's hideous.

03:22It's horrendous.

03:23So they go, we're bringing back these uniforms.

03:25And I'm just looking right now on social media.

03:27Everybody, this is tremendous.

03:29This is amazing.

03:30You know, I'm not even a Washington fan.

03:32Respect.

03:32Love that uniform.

03:33Get back to the basics at this point, right?

03:35And by the way, Washington, we're going to wear these three times a year.

03:38So you're going to have the suck uniforms the entire season.

03:41With three games, we'll give you with the best uniform.

03:45Those are the issues I have.

03:46The powder blues out for the Chargers.

03:48That should be every game.

03:49The Miami Dolphins old uniforms that they throw it back to.

03:52That should be your uniform.

03:53Not the trash you wear now.

03:55The Patriots.

03:56You ever see them throw back with a little football player on the helmet?

03:58It is beautiful.

03:59But let's keep the trash uniforms.

04:01Even my Philadelphia Eagles with, yes, oh, the Midnight Green, we win Super Bowls.

04:07That's a trash uniform.

04:09The Kelly Green should be worn every single week.

04:12Why do we do this?

04:13The most beautiful uniform you can construct and have in your hands.

04:17And you wear it two or three times a year.

04:23It upsets me more than anything should here.

04:25Wear your good uniforms.

04:27The fans want that uniform.
