He joined the K&C Masterpiece to talk about what led him to sign with the Mavs after going undrafted, what he's learned about being a pro from his brother Andrew, who plays for the Pacers, and more.

00:00what are the summer league preparations like for you when you know it's not a given that this is
00:21going to happen or that's going to happen you obviously you're going to have to fight for and
00:25earn a lot of the stuff that you're shooting for yeah you know i'm just excited for the opportunity
00:30excited to get going with the guys uh practicing for the last couple of days and uh yeah i'm just
00:35excited for the opportunity uh to play basketball uh at the highest level so i'm enjoying the process
00:40was there anything in particular that interested you about dallas or i'm sure you had multiple
00:45teams interested in you that pushed you towards the mavericks yeah for sure just just the personnel
00:51i feel like uh it's the place i want to be i feel like uh they they showed their interest in me and
00:56then uh you know a lot of a lot of great players over here a lot of guys to get the ball to and make
01:00my job a lot easier so uh a very intriguing spot and i'm super super excited to be a man
