Santana Moss discusses the importance of wide receivers building a rapport with a quarterback.
Transcript
00:00Santana, someone that's played with a bunch of different quarterbacks
00:03in your time in the league,
00:06how important is it to have continuity year to year?
00:09Thinking more so like Terry McLaurin,
00:11where they're going to get this contract situation figured out, I assume,
00:15and he's going to be back with Jaden for a second year.
00:17It's the best quarterback he's played with in his career,
00:19but he's going to have continuity with Jaden
00:22and some of that chemistry that he can build on year to year.
00:24How important is that, and how does that look as it evolves?
00:27I think it's very important,
00:29but I also think as a receiver, being a pro,
00:32sometimes you have to overcome a lot of that stuff
00:34when you don't have that continuity.
00:36And Terry, by example, he has shown you that year after year,
00:40he played with more quarterbacks already thus far in his career
00:44than I probably did, and I played with 15 in my 14-year career.
00:49But to have a guy like Jaden now, at this point in his career,
00:54man, I think is huge,
00:55and I think you saw how big it was for him individually last year.
00:59I think that was one of the better seasons that we saw from Terry,
01:02despite him having 1,000 yards every year
01:04since his second year in the league.
01:06He's got a lot of great news.
01:07He's got a lot of different ways to do that,
01:07especially when he's saw you.
01:07He's got a lot of different things.
01:08I think he's got a lot to do with that.
01:09But then according to the text,
01:10he's got a lot to do with the 320,
01:10and he's got a lot to do with it.
01:11I think it's a lot to try to do with that.
