00:00That's a big, big distance, and you'll see it almost immediately in this.
00:04Now, some other stories have been breaking throughout the day at RedBud.
00:07We mentioned one moto is already complete, one race.
00:09Moto2 coming your way.
00:11KTM keys to the moto, James.
00:13Well, it's important for these guys to get out front.
00:15We saw when Jet Lawrence and both Honda boys were out front.
00:18They're hard to beat, so the Eli Tomax is going to be really hard on this out.
00:21So get out front, manage to hit JT.
00:24Well, the number seven of Aaron Klessinger for RedBud KTM will be out this moto,
00:28running a fever, wasn't feeling great coming in,
00:31and I think coupled that with the heat of today that James was mentioning,
00:34he will sit out moto, too.
00:36Thank you, JT. That's bad news.
00:38One of the most popular riders out here, not able to go.
00:42Shout out to the Rocky Mountain ATVMC privateer of the week.
00:45That is Cornelius Tondel, rider out of Norway.
00:48He's been visiting the last couple of weeks.
00:50He gets $2,000 from Rocky Mountain ATVMC to keep him going.
00:54Got essentially a stock Honda motorcycle underneath him,
00:57not the full factory bike.
00:59The best of the best, though, are on the gate to race for 30 minutes and two laps.
01:0540 riders gathered.
01:07That 18 see the yellow numbers on Jet Lawrence's bike.
01:12He's the championship leader.
01:13He won the first moto earlier today.
01:16The same question throughout the year.
01:18Can anyone challenge that 18?
01:20Maybe it's Chase Sexton, last year's champion.
01:22Back in action.
01:24Time to bring the heat.
01:25Pro Motocross, underway.
01:29Terrible start for Sexton.
01:35It is Cody Schock on the Yamaha and the 70 of Jorge Prado, battling for the lead.
01:41It's like Tony Corolla and Ducati slides up.
01:43When they were in third, they got passed.
01:45But Cody Schock back out front.
01:46It was a few weekends ago when we saw him out in Thunder Valley.
01:49It's a great story.
01:51The Club of Mexico, Muckoff, FXR, Yamaha team, not the full factory squad.
01:56They get some help, and they make the most of it.
01:58So Schock to the lead.
02:01It is Valentin Guillaume with a good start.
02:03And Prado battling right now in second.
02:06Prado, the Spaniard moving to America this year.
02:09And known for the good starts when he was winning titles in Europe.
02:13He's got a good one right now, and he's got a line on the inside of Schock.
02:16Joey Sabaccia, the 17 quadlock Honda.
02:18Yeah.
02:19Down early.
02:19No, nice move.
02:21Jorge is out front.
02:22He probably got a sense of Guillo and Corollibon.
02:24He thought he was back in Europe over here.
02:26I wanted to show these guys what it looked.
02:28This is Jorge.
02:28Hey, so maybe that little bit of reminds him what he was doing over in Europe,
02:32because it is good to see two-time MotoGP champion, MXGP champion out front.
02:37And let's see what he can do with this, Jason,
02:39because he hasn't been close to the lead for a few, actually, all season.
02:43Yes, this is what Prado was known for in Europe.
02:46Good starts and early race speed.
02:48Now, that's what Jett Lawrence is known for racing here in America, but he is buried.
02:52I saw him listed eighth.
02:53I think it might be worse than that.
02:55You see him on the outside here on the 18th.
02:58Yeah, it looks like Cooper Webb is right in front.
02:59I'm our worst.
03:00Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac.
03:02I thought they were somewhat near.
03:04But the good thing for Jett, the strongest guys are, it seems like, behind him.
03:10Yes, you're right.
03:11The traditional front runners all with bad starts at this Moto.
03:14Here's Lawrence on the 18th again, trying to get around the 9.92 of Guillo.
03:18Do have that good start.
03:20Jason Anderson of the 21.
03:22He's trying to get them in bunches.
03:24Yeah, now, Jett's just got to be careful here.
03:26You know, you can see Jorge at the end of this section, so it's not too far behind him.
03:30Just make sure these guys, you don't get caught up.
03:32We saw what happened to Hayden.
03:33He goes down.
03:34Lawrence has crashed.
03:35And he's going to lose a ton of spots because the pack is close early.
03:40Just as of a sandwich, he just had to be careful, kind of let this thing play out because everybody was behind him.
03:45That is not what you wanted to see if you're a Honda fan of Jett Lawrence.
03:49So let's see what he does, regroup, long race to go.
03:53He's won every race this year.
03:56He's won all but one in his entire career, dating back to 2023 in this 450 division.
04:02But he is on the ropes now.
04:05Mitchell Harrison, a Michigan native, in front of him is in 16th.
04:10Jett is 17th.
04:13Prado out front.
04:15Shock under pressure from Justin Cooper.
04:18This is the battle for second.
04:20And Cooper going to try to make it happen from the outside, and he does.
04:24Yep.
04:25And then as Cooper makes the pass, we remember the opening moto.
04:29He wasn't with us on Peacock.
04:30Justin Cooper has some fast, some really good pace in that opening moto towards the end.
04:34So maybe he's found the flow, and this is the opportunity for all these guys, including Jorge, to see if he can do something with his lead.
04:41Justin Cooper, he's been on the brink of winning one of these races, been his fastest qualifier a lot of times this year.
04:47So this is what they needed to do, just like that 250 class, get some of these guys who've been fast, see what they can do with it when they're out front.
04:54So much chaos.
04:55So Hunter Lawrence, second in the first moto, sixth right now.
04:59Eli Tomac was running third in moto one.
05:01Bike blew up.
05:02He's 21st.
05:03And then Jett, as we mentioned, his troubles with a bad start and crash.
05:07Doors open for an upset win today.
05:11Bottom box is Jett Lawrence on the number 18, looking to make moves toward the front.
05:16Yeah, he's going behind my brother, Malcolm Stewart.
05:19Heads up, riding by Malcolm, I mean Jett.
05:22Malcolm cut back towards outside.
05:23Jett had to break.
05:24Otherwise, he almost got cross-rutted.
05:26So if they can get the LaRocco's lead clear, and just look how many guys are in front of Jett Lawrence at the moment.
05:32He has an opportunity to get a bunch, but he's got to stay up.
05:35Don't want to take another mistake, because then you have to start worrying about the overall victory at this point.
05:40Looking to clear Malcolm, your brother there, from the outside.
05:43And he makes the pass in that bottom box.
05:45Now, quick to those sad rollers around the Frenchman, Benoit Paciorel.
05:52Up front, and that box at the top, Hunter Lawrence making moves.
05:56He could be the beneficiary for the overall win with the two motos combined today on that 96 in red.
06:03He just passed Tony Carolli on that brand-new Ducati, and that could be key.
06:07If Hunter can grab a few more spots, he could be the overall winner for the first time in his career.
06:12Yeah, he's going to have to make it happen, but what a move by Jett.
06:16I haven't seen many people on the outside all day long, and, man, he had that Honda ripping around it outside.
06:22Great move by him, but let's see what he's made of.
06:25I think the difference is, as you get older, you try not to make this mistake,
06:28and we haven't seen Jett turn one mistake into two or three, and this is why he is your points leader.
06:33He's been so strong to beat, but now he's got his work full as his brother's starting to cruise up and make his way.
06:38Chase Sexton still in front of him.
06:40And, incredibly, if it ended like this, with the two motos combined, Prada would win the day with a seventh and a first.
06:48And he's pulling away now on the monster Kawasaki, and what a journey it has been for him and this team.
06:54It has been a mighty struggle as the Spaniard tries to adjust to racing in America on a different team and bike than the one he raced in Europe.
07:02Talked to the crew chief, Oscar Wienermann, yesterday, and he said they made more changes and bigger changes this week than they have at any point this year.
07:11He was optimistic they would work.
07:13First moto was not great with the seventh, but it sure looks good now.
07:17Yeah, no, it definitely looks good.
07:19And I'm going to give JT, probably Jason Thomas, a shout-out because he's been talking all year long, and Jorge getting a start.
07:24What can he do with it?
07:26That's where he normally is out front, and he looks like a whole different rider.
07:30So, shout-out to you, JT, for calling this.
07:32Might be on to something here.
07:33Chet making more moves.
07:34He's gone from 17th to 11th.
07:37He gets around at Guillaume.
07:38JT, what are you thinking about the race leader there, number 70?
07:41Well, this is the Jorge Prado that we were promised.
07:44This is the guy that gets the starts and knows what to do with him.
07:47And now, the most important aspect of this race, as I see it, is he has to believe in himself.
07:52He has to lean on years of experience of leading and winning races.
07:57He has to forget about all the other races so far in 2025 and lean on what he has done in the past
08:03and let that drive him into the future.
08:06And, JT, we've been hearing a lot about him getting help.
08:10We don't know how official it is at this point from Chad.
08:13Chad Reed, a good friend of yours, in South Carolina, at Club MX, where they've both been based.
08:19And he was talking to me earlier about how important it is to kind of step in and help him out
08:24with the translation of what he needed from the bike and getting that to happen.
08:29And when he talked about translation, he's not referring to, you know, the sort of language barrier
08:33of speaking Spanish to English.
08:35He's referring to a rider's interpretation, James.
08:38He was referring to the fact of saying, this is what the bike is feeling like to me.
08:42What do you want to do with that?
08:44And how are the team, a new team to him, going to interpret that to get him the feeling that he needs?
08:49And that's been taking time.
08:50And that's understandable when it's a new brand.
08:52And then you're jumping to so many new things, as you said, Rij, including a totally new country and race series.
08:58Well, there's so much new out here, Will.
08:59We just saw Tony Corolli in that debut for Ducati.
09:02And that bike has let go.
09:05But, yeah, Chad Reed, a champion of this series.
09:08And also Monster Energy Supercross, one of the legends of the sport, now helping with Prado's program.
09:13Yeah, and obviously it is.
09:14And I think it's just, you know, like in football or, you know, basketball,
09:18sometimes you just need to hear a different voice, you know, leading the locker room.
09:21And I think that's where Chad really comes in.
09:23It's not like Jorge doesn't understand what he's trying to tell those guys or those guys don't understand them.
09:27But sometimes that voice to give them confidence of a new beginning.
09:30But I will say this, I actually thought something happened to Chase's motorcycle
09:35because the way Chad Lawrence went past him going down a hill, I thought Chase made a mistake.
09:39But now I'm starting to see, man, this kid is coming up through the pack,
09:43and he's got some flow going as he tries to get around Jason Anderson up the inside by hitting LaRocco's lead.
09:48Looks like R.J. Hampshire on the number 24 Husqvarna is right in front of him.
09:52So, Chad Lawrence senses the urgency, Jason.
09:54Yeah, you gotta watch that red number 18 there, making a bid for the overall.
09:58He won the first moto earlier today. He's sixth.
10:01His brother Hunter has climbed to third.
10:04He would have a 2-3, and at the moment now Hunter would be the Red Bud overall winner.
10:09But it could change again because Justin Cooper from second now has Prado the leader in his sights, JT.
10:16He does, and there are battles all over this racetrack, but I'm watching Chad Lawrence steadily move forward.
10:21And the biggest thing here, he's already made one mistake.
10:23I think he was rushing it a little bit, got too excited.
10:26He just has to trust himself. Trust the pace.
10:30The math will take care of itself if he can keep turning in really good lap times
10:33and not get trapped behind the likes of R.J. Hampshire or his brother Hunter.
10:38This race is still in play, but you have to trust.
10:41It's so cliche to say, but you have to trust the process to drag him forward.
10:46Yeah, no, I mean there, James.
10:47I know. I completely agree.
10:48And basically what he's saying is like when you're looking, you'll see Jorge coming down this next section.
10:53So Jett, immediately as a rider, you're like, man, I want to get to him.
10:57But when you recognize in the whole grand scheme of things, you have the pace to just continue on this.
11:02If you don't get stuck behind R.J. and try to rush it as we saw Hayden Deegan in that 250 class,
11:07if you just continue on this pace, eventually you won't see Jorge going down that side
11:11because you're going to be in front of him.
11:12And I think that's what he's trying to do, and he's got to manage that.
11:15But age comes to that point, and the way Jett Lawrence is looking,
11:19he's still going to win this race if he doesn't make another mistake this moto.
11:22He would need to get behind his brother Hunter.
11:25If Hunter finishes second, Jett would need to get to third,
11:28and he's making moves right now for fourth, and he's got the pass on Hefshire.
11:32Man, just his momentum, this shot that we have,
11:37you can just tell how much more momentum Jett has in the corners,
11:41where these other guys are really stopping and getting caught up in the corners.
11:44Jett's either hopping over the bunts, but his miles an hour throughout the corner,
11:48it's just a lot faster.
11:49Instead of him slowing down when he gets to the bend of the corner,
11:52he just goes 30 miles an hour instead of a normal 25,
11:55and he's catching these guys throughout it.
11:56Look at the map.
11:57With that pass, Jett Lawrence momentarily has the overall win in hand,
12:02but if his brother Hunter makes passes, he can get it back
12:05as Jorge Prado continues to lead the individual race.
12:32Oh, Lord!
12:35.
12:55.
12:56Let's go.

16:50Let's go.
16:52Let's go.
16:54Let's go.
17:16Let's go.
17:18Let's go.
17:20out keep up with that number one 18 excuse me at the top Justin Cooper has
17:26never won a moto in the premier class of pro motocross he's in position to do
17:31it right now as he's getting away from Prado will remember what happened to
17:38Eli Tomac there in the first moto when the bike gave up I checked in with the
17:43team and they had to do an engine swap out on it they hadn't diagnosed it that
17:46happens kind of this week they don't have time to do it but as a safety
17:49precaution they also swapped out Justin Cooper's engine and Cooper webb's engine
17:55as well because they wanted to make sure that there were no issues across the
17:58board there they told me it was quite the hustle they had the 250 mechanics
18:02coming over to help them and they only got Jay Coop's bike done just 10 minutes
18:06before he rolled out to the start line there so incredible that he's doing what
18:10he's doing anyway and if you add that kind of stress leading up to the moto as
18:13well very impressive who barely got that thing to the line and here is Cooper
18:19out of Long Island New York now leading the race will the bottom box is sexton
18:24continuing to make ground on hunter Lawrence in the fight for third hunter at
18:29one point was in control of the overall once jet got behind him jet had it but I
18:35thought hunter had a shot at going after Prado and Cooper instead it's gone the
18:39other way around jet pass hunter hunter is now under pressure from sexton yeah and
18:44that's a tough position because it almost got him yeah heads up rounded by
18:48chase he had to slam on the brakes and you know chase might have been able to
18:51find jets line because he was behind him watching jet make all these passes so
18:54hunter wants to continue after his brother for overall but he's got to worry
18:58about that number one behind him and you know if you leave that door open he's
19:01coming in as well so good ride by both of these two but I believe hunter is kind of
19:05riding in that protective mode rather than the offensive moving forward towards
19:08jet again
19:10well it's all part of the road to the SMX playoffs 28 races in monster energy
19:15supercross and this promoter cross championship leads to the best racers
19:20competing for the ultimate prize you see that past that sexton's trying to make
19:24right there the seating in both of the regular season championships leads to the
19:28playoffs round one Z-Max Dragway in Charlotte sexton makes the move
19:34round two we're going to be in st. Louis on September 20th at the dome and it'll
19:39all wrap up world championship in Las Vegas at the strip the drag strip and that is
19:45why sexton has returned to racing he wants points for the seating in the
19:49playoffs go to supermotocross.com for all the information there chase sexton
19:55really finding his form after missing five rounds of this championship will and you
20:01said it Jason how important these SMX playoffs are for all these riders and for chase sexton
20:06he said look this is one of the reasons that I am back and when I asked him about not racing
20:11since we saw him at the opening round of parlay he said I was recovering from injury for about
20:15three or four weeks and then he said I wanted to take care of some health stuff that had been
20:18lingering all the way through supercross he was talking to me about what a fine balance that was to
20:23try and recover from all of that and give himself a chance in that break but at the same time
20:28not miss too many of these races because he knew that the SMX points were so important so he said
20:34I'm not a hundred percent but that balance has to be considered because these playoffs are very
20:39important to them I'll tell you what's important will jet lawrence just passed jorge prado for second
20:46he is one rider away from going from 18th to first in this race yeah jet lawrence has definitely got
20:54their pace but I think his biggest words not justin cooper out front but making sure you continue
20:59with that chase sexton behind him because chase has gotten around jorge as we saw justin cooper to
21:03sneak out of your screen so both these guys chase sexton is pushing jet lawrence up and jet lawrence
21:08is catching the number 32 but I think his biggest threat is going to behind him on that number one
21:13known that ktm behind him as his moto goes well this is the battle everyone really wanted to see lawrence
21:18versus sexton lawrence won the title in 2023 sexton missed races with injury sexton won the title last
21:25year lawrence missed races with injury now watch this prado in the bottom just gets passed by lawrence
21:33and here's sexton's move
21:37yeah that's some pace right there that was quickly oh prado almost went off track that's because he got
21:43scared when he recognized uh that ktm was rolling now look this race it is hot jet lawrence did go
21:50down here in the early part of the race and chase is coming and we like as i mentioned early he has
21:54been super strong at the end of the in their races normally if chase would have been at this season
21:59i would say chase is an advantage but because he hasn't been racing you just really never know where
22:03his fitness is but jt i love what i see from the number one he looks like a completely different guy
22:09james and when i watch him he looks like he's riding angry i don't think that first moto riding in the
22:15back 40 seconds down to jet warrants sat very well with him and he came out here determined now
22:20whether or not he can go up and pass jet warrants that's a whole different story but this is a
22:25completely different rider than we saw an hour and a half ago yeah no i agree i think what it was
22:30when uh jet went flying past him going down that hill it would have made me angry at his second moto because
22:35as i mentioned i thought something happened to chase's motorcycle the way he was but in chase
22:40what he needs to see is these little mistakes that you see from jet lawrence you know jet slamming in
22:44his corners a bike dancing around coming up a little bit shorter on la rocca's leaf all that little bit
22:49of you know mistakes by jet is going to keep that number one motivated and you never know what's going
22:53to happen what direction will this go stretch run justin cooper trying to win the first moto of his career
22:59lords and sexton on a charge to the front stay with us
23:18number one
23:29number one
23:53number one
23:54Oh, my God.
24:24Oh, my God.
24:54Oh, my God.
25:24Oh, my God.
25:54Oh, my God.
26:24Top of the screen has done it.
26:26He's come from 18th to take the lead from Justin Cooper, the number one of Chase Sexton, following him through, looking to take over second from Cooper.
26:35Yeah, and the way he did it, man.
26:37He went flying past and watched.
26:38You're going to see Jett Lawrence hop over this inside mogul, and Justin Cooper is going to start to break, thinking that Jett's going to cut underneath.
26:45The Jett just slingshots around the outside.
26:47As you could tell, no one went on there.
26:49It caught Justin Cooper by surprise.
26:51Strong move by the champ and Jett Lawrence to make his way up in the lead.
26:55And now one challenger remains.
26:58Sexton had been following Lawrence through.
27:00Can he make a quick pass on Cooper?
27:02Takes second and continue to put pressure on Lawrence.
27:06Critical juncture in the race right now.
27:07Yeah, a huge moment if he can get around Justin Cooper because if you're not too far, you see Hunter Lawrence who's regrouped and right behind Chase Sexton.
27:15So not only does Chase need to continue to move forward, see if he can get around Justin Cooper and have a chance at Jett Lawrence.
27:20He's got to do that because Hunter Lawrence, the 96, is coming as well.
27:23Sexton from Illinois.
27:27This is home track, grew up racing here, and the fans are cheering this charge for the number one.
27:36He's last year's champion but missed the first half of this summer with injury.
27:41It's his return to racing, and it's been a good one.
27:45Yeah, you know, as you're chasing, this is frustrating because Justin Cooper is starting to ride some of these defensive lines, as he should be.
27:51But you can see that gap already opening up from Jett Lawrence, and so if I'm Chase Sexton, I know I have the pace.
27:59I've been making passes along with Jett, but this can really stall you out, and being behind Jett Lawrence, you can be within the second,
28:06and then all of a sudden a couple corners, you know, three, four seconds down, and that's going to be hard for Chase to recover this end of the moto.
28:12Countdown clock, upper left, three minutes and two laps to go in this race.
28:16There's Justin Cooper was making a bid.
28:18Oh, now he makes a mistake, and Sexton.
28:23Oh, game of chicken to the bottom of the hill, and Sexton wins it.
28:26He's in second.
28:27Yeah, that was a nice move by Chase, and a heads up because the reason why he was cutting off, he had that pass made,
28:33but he knew that outside was a lot faster once you got down to the bottom,
28:36so he wanted to cut back across to get to that outside line.
28:39Otherwise, Justin Cooper was just going to go back around him, so heads up, riding by Chase, knowing how this track is going to break down.
28:45Let's see if he got a clean racetrack.
28:47Let's see what he can do this next half a lap to lap and maybe run down Jett Lawrence.
28:50It's four and a half seconds, the gap between the leader, Lawrence, and Sexton, the last two champions of this series,
28:58and the last two winners here at Red Bud.
29:03Hunter Lawrence is there with Justin Cooper now for third.
29:07We combined both motos together in the race earlier today, and now Jett Lawrence to clear winner with two moto wins,
29:14but this one, a comeback of epic proportions.
29:17He crashed on the first lap.
29:19He was 18th, and now he leads.
29:25Oh, Chase goes down.
29:29Second place is down and loses two positions, if not more.
29:34He was going for it, James.
29:35Yeah, and I was just saying, Chase looked really comfortable.
29:38I can tell you what's going to happen.
29:40Gets off this tabletop.
29:41He's charging in in his corner, and because he lost that little bit of time,
29:44he's just going to hop over his single and he's going to lose the front end over his berm quickly as he goes down,
29:49and that's just all because he's just trying to get up to Jett Lawrence and make that time.
29:53You can blame that on Justin Cooper being stuck behind him.
29:55That little bit of gap that he lost, he's going to have to push him in his corners, and that's easy to happen,
29:59but still a strong ride by the number one coming back off an injury, I believe, today.
30:04And as Jett jits away up front, keeping this incredible run.
30:08Again, he's only lost one race ever on a 450 motorcycle and pro motocross over three seasons now.
30:18If Hunter Lawrence can make the move on Justin Cooper, we're looking at yet another Lawrence Brothers 1 and 2.
30:25I've said it before.
30:28I mean, James, outside of maybe the Williams sisters in tennis, if you think of a sibling duo with this type of record.
30:35No, no, you can't, and it's not like they're just in a field of just weak guys.
30:43I mean, it's impressive the way they're going out here and doing it, and they're handling their business.
30:47They're going through the field.
30:48The Honda's in a great position right now, but confidence you're seeing from all these guys.
30:55And look, if you're the fastest one and two, and y'all just happen to be brothers, and oh, by the way, you guys happen to ride together.
31:01Oh, by the way, you guys are on the same team.
31:03Oh, by the way, it might be the best team in the pits.
31:05It's going to be a hard combination to beat, but you've got to put in the work and the help of Johnny O'Meara,
31:10Lars Lindstrom, the whole team, they're figuring it out.
31:12J-Team.
31:13Yeah, and I was just watching Jet's kind of body language there.
31:16He looked over.
31:17He looked behind him.
31:18If you were wondering if he knew that Chase was back there, I don't think you have to wonder anymore.
31:22He looked twice in succession wondering where Chase Sexton had gone to.
31:27So great job by Jet here, but I'm very impressed by the effort that Chase put in.
31:31He sent a little message to Jet in this moto that he might be somebody to contend with the rest of the second half of his championship.
31:36Yeah, JT, that's a heads up.
31:38I agree 100% because I was looking at the same thing as Jet looks back.
31:41He's not looking back to see if Hunter is behind him or Justin Cooper.
31:45I think he feels like he's got that handle, but I don't know if he knows that Chase went down,
31:49and Chase went down so late in that lap.
31:52I don't know.
31:53His mechanic probably didn't tell him, so now he's going to see that plus 11, probably relax a little bit.
31:59But Jason, Chase did go down here, but he didn't look like he was overriding to me, and that's a good sign.
32:06Look, he had to push it, had to make something happen.
32:09Again, that's easily. We saw Jet make a mistake. We saw Hayden make a mistake.
32:13Chase didn't look like he was out of control.
32:15It looked like a whole different rider that we saw at Paula.
32:17Looked like the Chase Sexton that we saw last year in this 450 class, and I'm with JT on this.
32:23It's a great sign, and Jet was definitely looking back, thinking that, look, that number one's going to be strong.
32:28If not today, he'll be a player here for the rest of this year.
32:31Next week, they'll be racing in Minnesota, the beautiful Spring Creek Motocross Park,
32:36and Sexton should be even better, as this was his return after being sidelined for a couple of weeks.
32:44So there could be a challenger in the midst, but whatever has been thrown at Jet Lawrence the last couple of years,
32:51he's been able to overcome it.
32:52And what's wild is that if you talk to this guy after the race, you'd have no idea he's this competitive.
33:00He is as loose and freewheeling.
33:03He's a 21-year-old going on 12.
33:04They joke sometimes under the Honda tent, but when he puts that helmet on, it's all different.
33:10Dude's a killer.
33:11He's definitely that.
33:12All these guys are.
33:13I mean, just the competitive nature of racing and trying to be the best.
33:17And at that, you've got to have a little bit of that inside of you, and both brothers, they have it.
33:22I want to give a shout-out to Justin Cooper.
33:24He was able to bend off Hunter Lawrence, and you start to wonder.
33:28Hunter picked up the pace once Chase got around him.
33:30Hunter was making up some good time.
33:32He was following Chase up.
33:33Once Chase went down, I thought Hunter was going to get around Justin Cooper,
33:36but that pace, that intensity went down.
33:38So I think both brothers understand that Chase Sexton could be a problem.
33:43Nonetheless, they're handling their own business, and they can get this done.
33:45One and three, this moto.
33:47Still a great showing by Honda today.
33:49And that would make them one and two in the overall, combining both races.
33:53White flag flying.
33:54One lap to go for Jen Lawrence to keep his streak alive.
33:57He has not lost it overall this year.
34:01Justin Cooper, yes, going to match his career best if he can hold on for a second.
34:06And the brothers, Lawrence, is the tenth time these two have gone one-two in a moto,
34:13and the fifth time this season.
34:16It's just an unbelievable story we've told before coming over from Australia.
34:20They went to Europe for a few years to learn the hardscrabble racing life over there
34:24and prepare for the journey that they've taken together.
34:29They ride together.
34:30They train together.
34:31They travel together.
34:32They make each other better.
34:34And they're one-two in this series right now.
34:36One-two.
34:38100%.
34:39Very impressed Rod.
34:41Going for the conditions.
34:42What we saw last weekend in the sand, whole different atmosphere.
34:45Jet was out front leading.
34:47And then now people who wanted to question him whether he could do it at the start.
34:51He was able to answer that.
34:53And with this win, he will tie the German Ken Rockson two-time champion of the series
34:57on the all-time premier class wins list.
35:01And that's in a very quick amount of time.
35:02Again, Jet only moved to this class in 2023.
35:05Climbing the ranks.
35:07That's what happens when you win most weekends.
35:09But Chase Sexton might have something to say about that next weekend in Minnesota.
35:13You can watch all of SMX and Pro Motocross on Peacock each Saturday.
35:19And every weekend they go racing.
35:21He's moving further up the ladder.
35:24But this is the biggest challenge he's had so far this year in that early crash.
35:2818th to first.
35:29Yeah, no, 100%.
35:30And I appreciate you not mentioning that he's going to go class me in 20th.
35:34That's my boy right here.
35:35But, yeah.
35:37I'm not saying we moved on from you.
35:38But we're just going to not mention it right now.
35:41You had a great run yourself.
35:42Here is Jet.
35:43The biggest jump on the circuit.
35:45La Rocco's leap.
35:46The fans salute him.
35:48And he put on a show.
35:50A lot of times leads from the front.
35:53Gives him the salute.
35:54Because this time he had to make 18 passes.
35:57Nearly half the field to get to the win.
36:03And they're still trying to solve this riddle.
36:06The 21-year-old Australian Jet Lords taking Pro Motocross by storm.
36:12Jet Lawrence sweeps Red Bull 20-25.
36:21The Honda Red Bull National belongs to Honda.
36:24They go 1-2.
36:25Great ride by Justin Cooper and Netsmoto for second.
36:28When Sexton brings it home for it.
36:36Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
