00:00Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at the time celebrities couldn't think of anybody but themselves, with dire consequences for others.
00:17But it was consensual, right? I don't know about you, but when you've had consensual sex, you don't really fill up with tears afterwards.
00:27Woody Allen
00:28The once widely admired director Woody Allen's career has a dark shadow cast upon it due to the allegations of sexual misconduct within the home, made by his former partner Mia Farrow.
00:38Woody gave her everything she could possibly want.
00:41I was over the moon happy, but that's the great regret of my life. I wish I'd never met him.
00:47He has consistently denied the claims, and in response, attempted to gain sole custody of his children, but his case was denied, and was instead granted supervised visitation.
00:57Dylan, his adoptive daughter, continues to voice her story publicly.
01:01While the details of what took place can never be fully known, Allen's controversies have opened up larger cultural conversations about relational power imbalances and grooming.
01:10You brought charges against me as an unfit mother.
01:13And I'm going to make him stick.
01:15Vince Neil
01:16What does this mysterious person benefit from my sexual humiliation?
01:21I don't know, man, but you're definitely going to die.
01:23The early 80s saw Vince Neil rise to stardom as the frontman of the heavy metal band Motley Crue.
01:29In 1984, Neil was driving with Nicholas Razzle Dingley, the drummer of the Finnish band Hanoi Rocks, when he crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
01:37The accident claimed the life of Dingley, and left the two passengers in the other car, Lisa Hogan and Daniel Smithers, with brain damage.
01:44Hogan is said to have remained in a coma for nearly one month as a result of the crash.
01:52Neil pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving, and spent 15 days in jail.
01:57He was made to pay a $2.6 million settlement to the victims of the accident.
02:01He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but only served 19 on the condition that he stays sober.
02:10Val Chimarkovsky
02:11Val Chimarkovsky from Dancing with the Stars was the subject of a defamation lawsuit in 2016 that sought a payment of $6 million.
02:18The suit was filed by a girl living with Down syndrome, who appeared in a meme that the dancer posted on his Facebook page.
02:25Val is known for tough love with his dance partners, but in this case, he's being sued for defamation and emotional injury for a post he later deleted, reminding us all that a quick meme can have lasting impact.
02:37The picture included a caption that was seemingly intended to body shame the young girl and blame her parents for her weight.
02:42I don't want people looking at her like that.
02:44Although he eventually deleted the picture from his page, Chimarkovsky refused to apologize for posting it, and instead doubled down on his stance.
02:51In her suit, which also included CBS News as a defendant, the unnamed girl claimed that the meme had caused her severe emotional distress.
02:58He never meant to offend anyone, he was trying to start a conversation about what's healthy and what's not.
03:04Remy Ma
03:04In July 2007, Grammy-nominated rapper Remy Ma was involved in an altercation with her childhood friend, Makita Barnes-Joseph, that ended with Barnes-Joseph getting shot.
03:24Apparently, the dispute was over about $2,000, which Ma accused her friend of stealing from her.
03:29If Peter Piper pecked them, I bet you Remy ducked them.
03:32The rapper was arrested on multiple charges, including attempted murder and assault, but she vehemently denied pulling the trigger.
03:38Barnes-Joseph, on the other hand, denied stealing from Ma, and had to spend three weeks in the hospital receiving treatment.
03:43She later filed a $10 million civil suit, claiming that the incident had inflicted physical harm and mental anguish on her.
03:50In the end, Ma was found guilty of assault, weapons possession, and attempted coercion, and received an eight-year sentence.
03:56We walked around the meadow to Texas, and it...
03:59We really ain't a need for VIP sex...
04:01Ashley Green
04:02I'm Alice.
04:04Hey.
04:05Best known for her turn as Alice Cullen in the Twilight franchise, Ashley Green made headlines in 2013, when her West Hollywood apartment was gutted by flames.
04:13The incident was apparently an accident, caused by a candle that lit a couch on fire.
04:25But according to Green's building manager, Adrian Mayorga, he found certain drug paraphernalia on the scene that he seemed to believe might have caused the incident.
04:33Mayorga, along with other residents in the building, filed a lawsuit against Green, claiming he suffered permanent respiratory damage as a result of the fire.
04:40In 2016, a settlement was reached between both parties for an undisclosed amount.
04:44That's your future, unless you decide on another course.
04:49Ellen DeGeneres
04:50For years, Ellen DeGeneres won the hearts of millions around the world with her lovable personality and mantra of always being kind to everyone.
04:57But turns out, it was an entirely different story behind the scenes.
05:00Some 47 past and current employees have complained to BuzzFeed News, allegations ranging from a toxic work environment.
05:09A few months after a Twitter thread about her being mean went viral, multiple former employees of DeGeneres' show came forward with allegations of a toxic workplace.
05:17They claimed that she created a culture of racism, fear, and intimidation, and in some cases, would fire people for flimsy reasons, leaving them without a source of income.
05:26Bony, liar, hypocrite. That's my reaction. She's known about this for 17 years. She's created this culture. I was there from day one. We were all petrified of her. She was not nice.
05:39Following an internal investigation, three executive producers were fired, and the show ultimately came to an end in 2022.
05:45She apologized and promised to do better.
05:48Jake Paul
05:49Seems it's not only Justin Bieber who's made his neighbor's lives living hell.
05:53In 2017, YouTuber and professional boxer Jake Paul was accused by his neighbors of constituting a nuisance in their West Hollywood community.
06:01We've done a lot of dumb things. This is the dumbest thing we've ever done.
06:03According to reports, Paul organized parties and orchestrated elaborate stunts that turned their peaceful neighborhood into a war zone.
06:10Residents in the upscale neighborhood call it a living hell.
06:14He also apparently made his address public, drawing hordes of fans to his house.
06:17As a result of this, Paul's neighbors filed a class-action public nuisance lawsuit against him.
06:23The YouTuber seemingly moved to another property, but his behavior never changed.
06:26In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he threw a large party that violated nearly all public safety rules, resulting in complaints from nearby residents.
06:34The party, held at YouTube star Jake Paul's mansion in Calabasas, lasted all day and into the night.
06:40Lance Armstrong
06:41Between 2002 and 2004, Mike Anderson worked as the personal assistant and bike mechanic for disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.
06:49Lance Armstrong turning into a virtual outcast in just a matter of days.
06:53According to Anderson, they had known each other since their adolescence and got much closer in those two years,
06:58to the extent that Armstrong's wife referred to him as husband too.
07:01However, their relationship turned sour in 2004, when Anderson stumbled upon the steroid androstenedione in Armstrong's bathroom.
07:08Armstrong subsequently terminated his employment, and Anderson went public with the discovery soon after.
07:13People ask me a lot, how you doing?
07:16And I tell them, I say, well, I've been better, but I've also been worse.
07:19The former cyclist dragged him to court and soured his name in the media.
07:23With no prospects left in the U.S., Anderson had to start life over in New Zealand, where he now resides with his family.
07:28I don't want to make excuses for myself that everybody did it or we never could have won without it.
07:35Those are all true, but the buck stops with me.
07:38I'm the one who made the decision to do what I did.
07:41Russell Brand
07:42Many women have come forward over the years accusing comedian Russell Brand of misconduct and inappropriate behavior.
07:48Behind what may have appeared to be a charming and humorous exterior,
07:52Brand had allegedly been physically and emotionally abusive both within the workplace and in his personal relationships.
07:58As of June 2025, he has been charged for his crimes, but has pleaded not guilty.
08:04His trial is set to begin in June of 2026.
08:07Hopefully, the truth will come to light, and those affected can be brought the peace of justice served.
08:11Justin Bieber
08:12You'd think it'll be nice living next door to a globally recognized pop star.
08:16But according to Jeffrey and Suzanne Schwartz, the former neighbors of Justin Bieber, it is anything but.
08:26The couple first made the news in early 2014, when Bieber was investigated for throwing eggs at their house.
08:31He later pleaded no contest and was made to pay about $80,000 in restitution to his neighbors.
08:36The damage went beyond kids' plate.
08:38In 2015, Jeffrey and Suzanne Schwartz filed a lawsuit for damages against the artist, citing the egging incident,
08:44as well as repeated cases of harassment from Bieber, his entourage, and his fans.
08:49He was also sentenced to five days of community labor, two years probation, a 12-week anger management program,
08:55and must also pay $350 in fees and fines.
08:58The case was finally settled out of court in 2018.
09:00Yeah, I know all that I let you down, is it too late to say sorry now?
09:06On Combs.
09:07So, who do you like?
09:08Blondie.
09:11Christina Aguilera.
09:12Who?
09:13No, come on.
09:14What?
09:15You, shortstop.
09:17Puff Daddy.
09:18Wrong.
09:19Sean Love Combs, born Sean John Combs, is a man who has put several spins on his name over the years.
09:24But whether the record producer and rapper chooses to call himself Diddy, Puff Daddy, or P. Diddy,
09:30there's dirt on all of these names following a series of controversies.
09:34I'm not sure if you want to answer this, but what are your thoughts on everything going on with,
09:38with Diddy right now?
09:39Combs' former partner, Cassie, filed a lawsuit against the disgraced hip-hop mogul in November 2023,
09:45alleging that he physically and sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
09:49After quickly settling out of court, Diddy likely crossed his fingers and hoped that that was the end.
09:54But this lawsuit was simply the first domino to fall before a string of further sexual misconduct accusations were made against him,
10:01including an alleged incident involving a minor.
10:03With graphic video now backing up their claims, many of them hope Sean Combs will soon be trading his obscene lifestyle for a jail cell.
10:12Matthew Broderick.
10:12Life moves pretty fast.
10:16If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
10:19During a 1987 vacation in Ireland with then-girlfriend and Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey,
10:25the two celebs were involved in a car accident.
10:27Details on the incident remain cloudy, but it has been alleged Broderick was in the incorrect lane of the wet, slippery road
10:33when his rented BMW hit an oncoming vehicle.
10:36Broderick.
10:37You have excellent taste in automobiles.
10:39The crash resulted in the occupants of that vehicle, Margaret Dirty and her daughter, Anna Gallagher, losing their lives.
10:45Broderick and Grey were lucky to escape with theirs.
10:48Grey sustained whiplash and other non-life-threatening injuries,
10:50and Broderick suffered a concussion, broken ribs, broken leg, and a collapsed lung.
10:55Broderick escaped with a minor charge of careless driving and a tiny fine,
10:59probably because of his celebrity status.
11:00Wow, this is just like what happened with Matthew Broderick, except no one's dead.
11:04Danny Masterson.
11:05For the victims of Danny Masterson, today was a day of reckoning.
11:09The former actor, and now convicted felon, brought to justice.
11:13Danny Masterson is famous for working with Ashton Kutcher on projects like That 70s Show.
11:18However, the actor's resurgence in popularity due to acting with Kutcher on their Netflix series, The Ranch, was short-lived.
11:24This is due to being at the end of a trio of sexual assault allegations,
11:28for incidents alleged to have taken place in 2001 and 2003.
11:31Well, these are allegations that go back to 2002.
11:35Danny Masterson has always maintained his innocence.
11:37Following an investigation by the LAPD, criminal charges were brought against the actor in 2020.
11:43After pleading not guilty, Masterson went through two trials over the crimes,
11:46the first of which resulted in a hung jury.
11:49The second trial, however, saw him convicted for two of his three cases,
11:52resulting in a sentence of 30 years to life in prison.
11:55Masterson's two victims, who have not been publicly identified, termed Jane Doe 1 and 2,
12:01saw their attacker in court, sentenced to 30 years to life.
12:05Roman Polanski.
12:06Plaintiff, though groggy, alleges that she told defendant, quote, no, end quote.
12:13The film industry accolades that French-Polish director Roman Polanski has received are shocking,
12:18considering what he's been accused of.
12:20In 1977, Polanski was charged with inappropriate sexual contact with a minor,
12:25after which he accepted a plea deal and penalty by probation.
12:28Once the director realized he might still be imprisoned, he fled to his home country, France.
12:33Took me a really long time to decide to file this suit against Mr. Polanski,
12:38but I finally did make that decision.
12:40Despite attempts that have been made to extradite Polanski, he remains free.
12:44He even won a Best Director Oscar in 2003,
12:47and we're still seriously side-eyeing all those who gave him a standing ovation at the time.
12:51Let's put things into context.
12:53It's Roman Polanski who doesn't respect the rule of law.
12:56He's always refused to face justice.
12:58Stephen Collins.
12:59I was taken aback.
13:01That was strange.
13:02You know, I'm like, wow, who does that?
13:05On 7th Heaven, Stephen Collins endeared himself to viewers
13:08as loving father and helpful pastor Eric Camden.
13:11In hindsight, everything about the actor's wholesome image felt manipulative
13:14when appalling audio was released in 2014,
13:17where Collins confessed to acting inappropriately with minors.
13:20That famous TV dad after Stephen Collins coming forward for the first time.
13:25Why now?
13:26One tweet sums up the scandal.
13:27Reverend Camden, how could you?
13:29The recording came from a marriage counseling session two years earlier.
13:33The statute of limitations means that Collins saw no proper justice for his crimes,
13:37despite publicly acknowledging that they occurred between 1973 and 1994.
13:41If there's any silver lining, after decades of success,
13:44the reaction to these recordings in his career was very much over.
13:48The first incident was in 1973.
13:51You were 25 years old.
13:53How old was the victim?
13:55Nick Hogan.
13:55When you found out just how bad he was, what were you thinking?
14:02It just, it didn't even seem real.
14:05In recent years, wrestler Hulk Hogan has been involved in controversy,
14:09including multiple lawsuits and racist rants caught on camera.
14:13It may be a case of like father, like son when it comes to character,
14:16as Hogan's son, Nick, was driving under the influence in 2007,
14:19when an accident took place that almost claimed his passenger's life.
14:22Bollea was arrested for reckless driving for the wreck.
14:26While the passenger, a friend named John Graziano, survived,
14:29he still wasn't lucky, sustaining severe brain injuries resulting in him needing full-time care
14:33for the remainder of his days.
14:35For his carelessness, Hogan was sentenced to only eight months of jail time,
14:39and this would not be the last time he was caught driving drunk.
14:41This weekend's arrest comes 16 years after he was arrested
14:45for reckless driving following a horrific accident that left his friend paralyzed.
14:50And Winnie, that was a big story when it happened.
14:52Kanye West.
14:53Of course, Kanye has made it no secret that he wants Kim back.
14:57It's hard to believe that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
14:59once seemed like one of show business's strongest power couples.
15:02However, very little in Ye's life seems to last forever.
15:06His ego, on the other hand, that never seems to fade.
15:09Following Kim and Ye's separation, the Kardashian moved on a few months later,
15:13starting a new relationship with SNL cast member Pete Davidson.
15:16And here's what it looked like.
15:18So like, I'm like on the left.
15:20I'm like, oh God.
15:23And then I'm like, I want a career.
15:24So I leave.
15:25Kanye did not approve of the couple, to say the least.
15:28The rapper and fashion designer even went as far as to release a video for his
15:32and the game's single, Easy, that depicted an animated Davidson getting buried alive.
15:37The comedian reportedly had to attend trauma therapy in response to West's online abuse.
15:41I'm just extremely happy.
15:43Can you tell by my face?
15:44Bill Cosby.
15:45There has been a verdict.
15:46The comedian, now 80, has been found guilty on all counts.
15:50A staggeringly high number of women, over 60,
15:52have accused comedian and actor Bill Cosby of sexual assault,
15:56with reports of incidents that date back 50 years.
15:58The open secret of Cosby's behavior had faded into the background,
16:02until a comedy routine from Eric Andre's sidekick, Hannibal Buress,
16:06resurfaced the allegations in October 2014.
16:08What was the game changer here?
16:11Was the other women allowed to testify?
16:14The next year saw Cosby charged with three counts of indecent assault,
16:18stemming from events that occurred in 2004 at Cosby's home.
16:20He was found guilty in 2018,
16:23and sentenced to three to ten years of imprisonment.
16:25However, this was overturned in 2021 due to illegal technicality.
16:29To the dismay of many, Cosby is a free man.
16:32Bill Cosby walked free today,
16:34after the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania overturned his assault conviction,
16:38leaving his accusers stunned.
16:39Harvey Weinstein.
16:40The new headline tonight involving one of the most powerful figures in Hollywood,
16:44several allegations of sexual harassment against movie producer Harvey Weinstein.
16:47Harvey Weinstein was once one of the most powerful
16:50and influential producers in Hollywood.
16:52As anybody familiar with the revelations that ignited the global Me Too movement know,
16:56he significantly abused this position.
16:58Weinstein used promises of advancing the careers of several women he worked with
17:02to sexually assault and harass them.
17:04Another cause of an open secret in Hollywood,
17:16the show Business Whispers became much louder in 2017,
17:19when an expose on the producer was published by the New York Times and the New Yorker.
17:23The report contained accounts for many women accusing him of sexual misconduct.
17:27In 2020, many were relieved as Weinstein was convicted of sexual assault
17:32and sentenced to 23 years of imprisonment.
17:34They should have a right to speak their piece
17:38and to say how they have been harmed by the defendant in a case.

17:58R. Kelly
17:59But we do begin tonight with singer R. Kelly,
18:01sentenced to 30 years behind bars after his conviction on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
18:07Despite incidents in the accusations against the once R&B superstar dating back to the early 90s,
18:12R. Kelly avoided punishment for his crimes for years, simply being labeled a playboy.
18:16This all changed with the release of a documentary series in 2019.
18:19In their impact statements, describe the abuse they endured,
18:23calling Kelly, quote, abusive and dominating.
18:26That Lifetime series, Surviving R. Kelly,
18:29detailed allegations of sexual misconduct against the singer from several women.
18:33The artist was arrested on multiple charges and in 2022,
18:37sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of nine counts of sex trafficking and racketeering.
18:42A later trial also found him guilty of six additional charges.
18:46It's estimated Kelly should be in jail at least through 2045.
18:49This is a significant outcome for all victims of R. Kelly,
18:53and especially for the survivors who so bravely testified
18:56about the horrific and sadistic abuse they endured.
19:00Do we forget to mention another selfish celeb?
19:02Sound off in the comments.
19:04Do you remember the look on these girls' faces?
19:06Do you remember the words in Impfengavi,
19:21but the hundred HahnŃŠ¾Ńа said you knew something?
19:22Do you remember the words in the веŃvŃŃ?
19:23Sound off in the streets.
19:23I don't know what I mean.
19:24Do you remember the words?
19:25I don't know what I mean.
19:25I don't know what I'm trying to mention.
19:26And thank you for the work on this.
19:27I look at your women's daughters
19:27and sisters.
19:28But remember if you had a woman born very good?
19:29They were going to be like her backyard.
19:30Well, you remember what I'm trying to make up with.
19:31And you know what I did?
19:31I don't know the perfect Particularly is.
19:32And I can use the community to affect their lives and identify them.
19:33So you remember that she was more than I didn't know what I'm drawing anytime in.
