00:00Honestly, it's probably Home Alone.
00:09I think because it's one of the first movies I saw where like a kid was the star.
00:13It almost seemed like it was written by a kid.
00:15It really inspired me.
00:16And I remember after I saw Home Alone is when I first started trying to write a movie.
00:21I feel like I'm in a therapy session like unearthing like a repressed memory
00:25that I have not literally thought about since I, whatever, what year did Home Alone come about? 1990 maybe?
00:30I was maybe eight or nine years old.
00:33I was also a big Three Ninjas fan, which honestly similar vein as Home Alone.
00:38I like movies with kids beating up adults.
00:40And so I think it was my take on a kids beating up adults movie, yeah.
00:46Amy Pascal for sure had some of the best stories.
00:49And she is I think one of the longest running, if not the longest running studio heads in Hollywood history.
00:54Like she was in charge of Sony for a very long time and saw many different like eras of film come and go
01:03and different trends and all that.
01:06And she worked with everybody.
01:08And she's someone that we were very close with and very good friends with her.
01:11She was willing to be very honest with us and have a lot of candor, you know.
01:15And so she really gave us a lot that was incredibly helpful and inspirational for the show.
01:22Yeah.
01:23I don't spend a lot of time in my trailer in general.
01:25And I sometimes go into other actors' trailers and I'm like, whoa, you've got a whole thing in here.
01:30I put an espresso, I have an espresso machine in my trailer because I drink a lot of caffeine throughout the day.
01:35And a little speaker where I listen to music sometimes.
01:41And that's sparkling wine.
01:43Literally, I don't have much in my trailer at all.
01:45I spend no time in my trailer.
01:46I wouldn't even get changed in my trailer.
01:48I had a little tent on set where I got changed.
01:50So I don't need much.
01:52Take us through the eras of what a Seth Rogen type might be.
01:54I think at one point it was like a schlubby stoner type.
01:56Okay.
01:57We evolved into like a neurotic middle-aged Jewish type.
02:00Those are the roles I give myself consistently, so.
02:03Music
02:20.
02:23.
02:27.
