00:00If you're anything on your free side windows or your windscreen, it is going to be illegal.

00:04So that for us is just straight away.

00:06We're in West Brom this morning doing an enforcement activity with the police, with the council, with the DVLA

00:11and we're checking for illegal number plates, specifically ghost plates.

00:14We're also checking for no insurance, no MOT, no valid driving licence.

00:19We've literally been here for about five minutes.

00:21We've already had loads of cars come in with completely illegal plates.

00:24Ghost plates, which cannot be seen through AMPR cameras, which are speed cameras and police cameras.

00:28It shows you how frequent this is happening on our roads and it's really important that police are here

00:34catching people and raising awareness.
