00:05after a siege in Daisy Hill which is between Talbot and Maryborough in central Victoria.

00:12It all unfolded into Thursday afternoon and into Thursday night after police initially received

00:18calls of shots being fired in the area. When they arrived a man allegedly ran into the shed of a

00:25property that wasn't his and that's where he hid for the next several hours until about 10 o'clock

00:30on Thursday night where he fired shots at police forcing officers to return fire. He was killed in

00:38that process. Police, the Professional Standards Command and the Homicide Squad are investigating
