“Delay of six to twelve months…”, Subhash Goyal highlights problem in India-US visa

New Delhi, July 04, 2025 (ANI): Chairman of Tourism Committee, Chamber of Commerce, Subhash Goyal highlighted problem in India-US visa services. He said that people applying for new visa are facing long waits, around six months to even a year. He said, “The only issue between America and India in terms of aviation is securing the American visa, which can take around 6 months to process. We appeal for visas to be facilitated and for renewals of pre-existing visas to be processed immediately...  We have already appealed for this to the Tourism, External Affairs, and Commerce Ministries.”
