00:00One of the more unexpected sights along the abandoned Cooma to Bombala railway line is the White Elephant of the Monero.

00:12The former McLachlan Meatworks operated as a meatworks abattoir in 1939 processing sheep, cattle and pigs.
00:23But it only lasted for around three years or so because of militant labourers.
00:27But also, believe it or not, hard to say in today's weather, but also because of drought.
00:34But if you have a look here, it was right on the railway line so they could easily load up the goods and the processed products when they'd finished.
