On July 1, a domestic flight in Australia experienced the rare reptile interruption, after a snake slithered into the aircraft, causing a two-hour delay, per the Associated Press, ABC News, and New York Post. The affected flight was Virgin Australia Flight VA337 from Melbourne Airport to Brisbane.
