Chichester kebab shop celebrates 36-year-anniversary with new refurbishment

Charcoal Grill at 42, The Hornet, Chichester celebrated their 36-year anniversary with a new-look refurbishment of their premises.

00:03We started Charcoal Grill in 1989, so over 36 years.

00:10We refurbished everything, everything has been renewed,

00:13and today is our first, second of 35 years.

00:17So hopefully all goes well, and thank you to all our customers,

00:20all the supporters, and the people around Chichester,

00:24and the Chichester people, always been grateful.

00:26Thanks to everyone.

00:27It's all about the families.

00:29My family has been supporting me,

00:31and it's been family business for since we've been open.

00:34Yeah, thank God I've got my boys around me,

00:37and hopefully that will carry on when I'm not here.

00:40Dad's been here 36 years.

00:42We've been serving the Chichester community

00:44with all of his lovely kebab recipes and that.

00:47Me and my brother getting involved with him, you know, supporting him.

00:51We want to make it better for the community of Chichester, obviously.

00:54The food's still the same, delightful, nice, new-look shop.

00:57Hopefully he's been here 36 years.

00:59We carry on another 36 years.
