In Nicole’s humble opinion, this might be the best burger recipe she’s ever made. 00:03technique behind the crust burger includes two upgrades from the typical
00:06smashed burger. The first involves smashing the bun too so that the meat to
00:10bread ratio is a 10 out of 10. Secondly, when the meat is cooked, it spreads so
00:14thin that it's lacy and the whole thing becomes a crusty delight, hence the name
00:18crust burger. Flip it onto pickles to finish cooking, then scrape it off the
00:21pan onto the smashed bun with a little burger sauce. Give it one more flip and
