00:00The motocross community is mourning the loss of Aiden Zing.

00:03On June 28th, multiple outlets report that the 16-year-old was racing at Mammoth Motocross

00:09when he was involved in a crash and sadly passed away.

00:13Outlet Dirk Bite Lover says that Aiden quote went down in a corner during a race and was

00:18reportedly run over by multiple bikes after the crash. He quote remained unconscious on

00:23the track for two laps before the race was red flagged. There are no further details on his

00:28passing. E! News has reached out to local authorities for comment but has not yet heard back.

00:33And following the news of his passing, motocross journalist Don Maeda paid tribute to the 16-year-old

00:39on Instagram, writing, Aiden was one of those kids that made an impression on you from the moment you

00:44met him. He always went out of his way to say hello, even recently when he grew into a fast big

00:50bike rider. He continued, I've been told that he suffered fatal injuries at Mammoth MX today.

00:56My heart goes out to the Zing family. I can't even fathom what they're feeling. Rest easy buddy.
