LIVE | Trump Issues Ultimatum To Iran | Israel Iran War Updates | Netanyahu | Khamenei | N18G

Started streaming 29 minutes ago #trump #israeliranwar #israeliranconflict
US President Donald Trump’s self-imposed two-week delay to decide whether to strike Iran has sparked confusion and conjecture in Israel.

Some of Israel’s most senior officials had openly pushed for US involvement, arguing that American military involvement can shorten the conflict and allow Israel to achieve its goal of removing what it has long perceived as an existential threat of a nuclear Iran armed with ballistic missiles.

U.S. President Donald Trump delivers an address to the nation on US military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. This comes as US attacked three Iranian nuclear sites, joining Israeli air campaign as Tehran promises to retaliate.

β€œI will be giving an Address to the Nation at 10:00 P.M., at the White House, regarding our very successful military operation in Iran. This is an HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD. IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR. THANK YOU!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.

00:00Here we go. I'm picking the beauties today. Go ahead.
00:06Mr. President, Secretary General Ruta has described President Putin as an adversary, a threat, an enemy.
00:14Do you view him the same way? And in addition to that, you mentioned General Cain, your chief of staff, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
00:24General Cain.
00:24Yes. He has said that Mr. Putin has territorial ambitions beyond Ukraine. Do you view that in the same way?
00:33It's possible. I mean, it's possible. I know one thing. He'd like to settle. He'd like to get out of this thing. It's a mess for him.
00:40He called the other day. He said, can I help you with Iran? I said, no, you can help me with Russia.
00:45Because, you know, in the last few weeks, we took care of India and Pakistan, Kosovo, Serbia.
00:54I think on Friday we have coming in, the Congo is coming in and Rwanda is coming in.
01:00That was a vicious war that went on, a machete war. Heads chopped off all over Africa.
01:06They're coming in. We did two others. In addition to that, nobody's ever done anything like this.
01:15No, I consider him a person that's, I think, been misguided. I'm very surprised, actually.
01:22I thought we would have had that settled. I've settled four of them in the meantime.
01:27But he did call up and he said, you know, he's close to Iran. He'd like to help us get a settlement.
01:33I said, no, no, you help me get a settlement with you, with Russia. And I think we're going to be doing that, too.
01:38Yeah, please. Go ahead, please.
01:42Thank you, Mr. President. You've made clear your position on what impact the strikes had.
01:47I wanted to ask you what is next with Iran.
01:50For instance, is there any indication from U.S. intelligence that Iran was able to move any material?
01:56No, just the opposite. We think we hit them so hard and so fast they didn't get to move.
02:01And if you knew about that material, it's very hard and very dangerous to move.
02:05It's called, it's called, in many people, they call it dust.
02:09But it's very, very heavy. It's very, very hard to move.
02:13And they were way down. You know, they're 30 stories down.
02:16They're literally 30, 35 stories down underground.
02:19I think you got it all.
02:20Oh, yeah, we think we got it. We think it's covered with granite, concrete, and steel.
02:28Can I ask you, are you interested in restarting negotiations with Iran?
02:32And if so, have they resisted?
02:33So, our people, Marco could answer this, but our people are not, I'm not.
02:40The way I look at it, they fought, the war's done.
02:43And, you know, I could get a statement that they're not going to go nuclear.
02:47We're probably going to ask for that.
02:49But they're not going to be doing it.
02:51But they're not going to be doing it anyway.
02:53They've had it. They've had it.
02:55Now, maybe someday in the future we'll want that.
02:58But I've asked Marco, do you want to draw, I just asked him the question as we were walking on the stage,
03:03do you want to draw up a little agreement for them to sign?
03:06Because I think we can get them to sign it.
03:08I don't think it's necessary.
03:10Marco, do you want to talk about that, please?
03:11Well, Mr. President, I think you, President Trump has shown a willingness to meet and talk to anybody in the world who's interested in peace.
03:20I don't know of any president that's been as willing as he has to meet with anyone and talk about peace.
03:24We'd love to have peaceful relations with any country in the world.
03:27And so, obviously, that'll depend on Iran's willingness not just to engage in peace,
03:32but to negotiate directly with the United States, not through some third country or fourth country process.
03:37But I know of no president, probably in our modern history, that's sought peace more than President Trump has.
03:44Sounds like the door is open, but you're in no rush. Is that right?
03:47Sounds like the door is open.
03:48I'll tell you what. Look, we're going to talk to them next week with Iran.
03:54We may sign an agreement. I don't know.
03:57To me, I don't think it's that necessary.
03:58I mean, they had a war. They fought. Now they're going back to their world.
04:02I don't care if I have an agreement or not.
04:04The only thing we'd be asking for is what we were asking for before about we want no nuclear.
04:10But we destroyed the nuclear. In other words, it's destroyed.
04:13I said, Iran will not have nuclear.
04:17Well, we blew it up. It's blown up.
04:19The kingdom come. And so I don't feel very strongly about it.
04:24If we got a document, it wouldn't be bad.
04:26We're going to meet with them, actually. We're going to meet with them.
04:30Yeah, go ahead, please.
04:32Mr. President, Netherlands TV, thank you for visiting our country.
04:36As I understood, I, of course, like to know how you slept last night at the House of the King.
04:41Oh, I slept beautifully.
04:43But probably a more serious question.
04:44I think you just had a meeting with President Zelensky.
04:47Did you discuss any ceasefire in this Russo-Ukrainian?
04:51No, no. I just, I wanted to know how he's doing.
04:53He was very nice, actually.
04:55We had little rough times sometimes.
04:57He was, couldn't have been nicer.
05:00I think he'd like to see an end to this.
05:02I do.
05:02I think what I took from the meeting, couldn't have been nicer, actually.
05:07But I took from the meeting that he'd like to see it end.
05:10I think it's a great time to end it.
05:12I'm going to speak to Vladimir Putin and see if we can get it ended.
05:15But, but, look, these are brave people.
05:18They're fighting these wars all over the place.
05:21You know, last week they had, I guess, close, I told you, seven, close to 7,000 young soldiers.
05:29Russian and Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
05:317,000 in one week.
05:33It's crazy.
05:34It's crazy.
05:35So I'll be speaking to Putin.
05:36You know, I had a good meeting with, with Zelensky.
05:40And I had a lot of good meetings.
05:42We had a lot of good meetings with a lot of people, a lot of great leaders.
05:45But he's, he's fighting a brave battle.
05:48It's a tough battle.
05:50Yeah.
05:52Go ahead.
05:53White dress.
05:56Ida Hallekainen from Finland, Ilda Sanomat.
06:00You have played golf with President Alexander Stubb.
06:04How do you see Finland as a NATO ally and partner?
06:07And how would you describe your relationship with our president?
06:10Well, he's a very good golfer.
06:12Okay.
06:13In fact, he was on his college golf team.
06:16He went to a good college in the south, as you know.
06:18A very good college.
06:19And he was a good golfer.
06:20We had a good time.
06:21I think my relationship's great.
06:23I want to buy icebreakers.
06:26You know, you're very good at icebreakers.
06:29And I actually made him an offer.
06:32I didn't go to Congress till trying to impeach me for this.
06:35But there's an old, it's not old, it's fairly new, but it's used icebreaker.
06:40And I offered him about one third of what he asked for.
06:45But we're negotiating.
06:46We need icebreakers in the U.S.
06:47And if we can get some inexpensively, I'd like to do that.
06:50Actually, they'll fix it up, make it good.
06:53Also, we may buy some icebreakers.
06:55You know, you make, you're the king of icebreakers, that particular country.
07:00They make them good.
07:01They make them really good.
07:02And they know what they're doing.
07:03And so we're negotiating with them for about 15 different icebreakers.
07:07But one of them is available now.
07:09It's old.
07:10And it's, you know, old.
07:12It's like five, six years old.
07:14And we're trying to buy it.
07:15I'm trying to make a good deal.
07:17That's all I do my whole life.
07:18My whole life, that's all I do is make deals.
07:20Yeah, please.
07:21Go ahead.
07:22Sir, go ahead.
07:23Yeah, question for NewsHour, Dutch TV.
07:29First of all, on Article 5, on your way here, you spoke about the commitment of the U.S.
07:34to Article 5, saying, I'll give you my definition once we're here.
07:38What is your definition?
07:39And may the U.S. commitment to Article 5 change in case some of the NATO members do not reach
07:46the threshold that was discussed today?
07:49My second question is following up on a colleague on Iran.
07:52What intel reports do say that everything over there was obliterated?
07:58Yeah, well, there are numerous of those reports, and they're coming out fast and furious.
08:03But the most respected ones we've already seen, and I will say that on a very confidential
08:09basis, they're looking at the reports, like numerous reports, and including people going
08:16to the site and checking the site.
08:18And they're going to be having, I guess you're going to be having over the next couple of days
08:21of full, we're going to encapsulate it.
08:24But no, the site was obliterated, just like I said it was, and just like the pilots should
08:29be given credit for.
08:31As far as Article 5, look, when I came here, I came here because it was something I'm supposed
08:40to be doing, but I left here a little bit different, differently.
08:43I said, I watched the heads of these countries get up, and the love and the passion that they
08:51showed for their country was unbelievable.
08:54I've never seen quite anything like it.
08:56They want to protect their country, and they need the United States.
09:01And without the United States, it's not going to be the same.
09:03And you can ask Mark, or you can ask any of the people that were there.
09:08It was really moving to see it.
09:10They loved their country.
09:11They were so respectful of me because I'm the head of the United States.
09:15And I made, you know, the king of Saudi Arabia, when I was in, I was in the Middle East, so
09:23I was in Qatar for a different reason, not a reason to get shot at.
09:27We were in there for economic development reasons, Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, all three
09:33leaders of those countries, and we took back $5.1 trillion into the United States.
