00:00So do we now have undeniable proof that Britain's capital is enforcing a regime of two-tier
00:05justice? Well we've been talking about this for the last few years and for many people it's become
00:09unavoidable. What I want to talk about now though is a Christian street preacher who was shut down
00:15by London's transport police outside King's Cross station. Now she has exclusively spoken to GB News
00:22claiming that Christians are being heavily persecuted in this country and that police are
00:28not doing this to other religious speakers. Shocking indeed if true. Well are we living in this
00:35two-tier approach by the authorities that we hear so much about? I'm delighted to say I am joined now
00:41in the studio by that street preacher herself Monique Bailey. Monique can you tell us a bit about what
00:48you experienced and what happened for the viewers who might not be familiar with this story? Now I've
00:54watched it closely myself but perhaps you could tell them exactly what happened. Yeah sure.
00:58so um I went to King's Cross on Thursday with my team Mad for Jesus Ministries and Afro Jesus
01:05Ministries. Mad for Jesus. Mad for Jesus Ministries. Yeah on the top. It's on your t-shirt even. Mad for
01:13Jesus. Okay. Yes so we went out on Thursday um and we basically put our amp there um just before the
01:21barrier so there's like barriers just in front of the station we put our amp there then security came
01:26and they said you can't be there this is private property but you can be um before the barriers so
01:32we went before the barriers closer to the station. So I started worshipping I normally sing first and
01:38then I preach then I gave it to my mother now that's when the police came and she was like what are you
01:46doing do you have a permit here and we were like oh we didn't know they the security told us we could be
01:51here um I'm not totally sure of all the laws and all this stuff to do with street preaching so I didn't
01:57have that knowledge at the time so she was like you can't be here so we said well security said we
02:03could be here so after we discussed that with her we were like okay fine we packed up our stuff fine we
02:08don't want to go against the law right so she just started saying comments now which was odd so that's
02:14when you see the clip that I've put up where she was like this is wrong I don't agree with it I'm
02:19just paraphrasing but I'm sorry this is the the police officer the police officer saying she doesn't
02:25agree with moving you on yes yes basically and she she no she doesn't agree with the gospel right
02:32basically like she was like I don't agree with it this is all wrong and it was just for me it was like
02:38what's going on with the police these days because you're meant to like help us and serve us but
02:44instead you're and where is that clip where can people it's on my instagram right yeah yeah and
02:49that's monique bailey is it it's mon b underscore 1997. okay so the police officer basically was
02:55letting it be known yes that their political views were not aligned with yours which raises the question
03:00of well we don't really care what the police thinks politically yeah um but what about this um
03:06suggestion that you were treated more harshly than other yes other followers of other religions
03:13yeah sure i i believe that just because personally i believe jesus is the way of the truth and the
03:19life and you know i've seen it and i believe many people have seen that there has been more persecution
03:26on christians more than any other religion and we've seen it day in day out with harmony that sang as
03:33well um and she was persecuted so it goes to show that something's quite odd in the uk right now with
03:40the police coming against christians and what we are there to preach about and it's the good news
03:46the gospel is good news absolutely i'm also by the way personally struck by the lack of attention
03:51that is given within the western media to the persecution of christians across large parts of
03:57africa now were that perhaps another group we might hear a lot more about that i'm just going to read
04:01to you a statement from the british transport police who said this we are aware of a video
04:08posted on social media showing an interaction involving an officer outside kings cross railway
04:14station officers were on patrol at the station when they came across a group preaching on private land
04:20with a loud speaker which requires permission from network rail and as such they asked them to leave
04:28yeah what's your response to that it is true that the police did tell us that you need a permit so
04:36that is truth but it's the way it was handled she was very agitated with us very hostile um how she came
04:45across to us but it wasn't it was a it was as if she didn't like us if i'm being honest and we're just
04:51here to spread the love of christ and the truth of the gospel and you know i it was just astonishing
04:58i just couldn't believe how a police person could come against us like that like we were abiding by
05:04the rules and by the way i didn't actually put the full clip on just to in a way save her because it
05:10actually got worse okay yeah can i just quickly ask if you take a step back and look at britain you know
05:15as a christian yeah you see the demonstrations that we've had since october 7th some would say pro
05:21hamas anti-israel demonstrations pretty overt displays of anti-semitism yeah we've had the lucy
05:28connolly case we've had um i would argue clear evidence of a two-tier approach within our judicial
05:35legal system do you think that we are actually now entering a society where some groups some religions
05:44are treated much more harshly than others do you think for example if you had been a muslim preacher
05:51in king's cross station the reaction would have been the same yeah i i don't think it would be the
05:56same um i do know yeah of course every religion gets something thrown at them but i do think
06:03of course christianity is the most persecuted and i do think you will we will see it more okay well
