Let’s go fishing in every biome and mine rocks in them all too! These are two of my favorite activities to do in the valley! Listen to my commentary and watch the collection of items!

00:00hey guys it's estelle again today i am playing disney dreamlight valley we will be mining all
00:10the biomes and going fishing in all the biomes mining and fishing are two of my favorite
00:17activities in this game i really love collecting the gemstones excuse me i really love collecting
00:26the gemstones and mining because a they're shiny and b i just love collecting stones in real life
00:34too like minerals um all that jazz and i love fishing in this game because a it's probably the
00:43easiest fishing in any game ever that i've ever played mind you i haven't played a ton of games
00:51i've played like a handful of games um also when you fish in dreamlight valley it pops up like this
01:02and you get to see what kind of fish you caught and it's really cool and like magical disney really
01:08knows how to bring the magic and i think that's why so many of us love playing this game so much
01:15so i'm starting out in the forgotten lands this was the last slash most recent biome that i unlocked
01:24and i feel like it's relatively smaller than the other biomes now that i'm thinking about it
01:32although maybe not because i did house a lot of villager homes up here i don't know why it's smaller
01:39i retract that i retract that ah perfect day for a thing gotta crack that rock
01:48the forgotten lands is a pretty dark biome um sometimes it can be difficult to see things
01:59dark and foggy you know mysterious like every biome has i want to say at least four rock mining spots
02:15some have more than that um forgotten lands has four or five i think
02:22and sometimes rock spots only give you like one thing and it's pretty underwhelming
02:37there's one it's really hard to make out the rock spots in forgotten lands
02:50because it's so freaking dark
02:51like right here is that a rock spot no there's one there we go if you are holding the tool
03:07that corresponds to the thing then it will lighten up like that
03:14and that's helpful because in other parts of the game you have to use your watering can
03:25or your shovel and sometimes it's like what why do i have to use my watering can to get rid of
03:30these mushrooms oh yeah that's why oh i got a diamond there and some gold nuggets
03:38i'm trying to make this channel just be like a cozy relaxing time i know sometimes there are moments
04:01in the game that probably should just be sped up for entertainment reasons but i'm trying to
04:07prosper a calm space not a let's get everything done as fast as possible space so that's something
04:18that's going to be probably going forward in all of my content is not very much speeding up
04:25it's going to be as is and dreamlight valley is just so beautiful
04:35the aesthetic and the colors and the sounds really i wouldn't want to pass it up i wouldn't want to
04:47miss any of this especially if someone has
04:52reasons why they can't play the game or they don't own the game and they like watching it
04:59then i want to present it in its in all of its entirety so i just ran out of energy of course
05:06oh my god look at that view look at that that's so beautiful the placement of the trees and rummy's
05:15um restaurant gosh i'm just such a photographer at heart so i gotta snap the good shots as soon as
05:25possible anyway what was i saying oh yeah presenting this as is
05:30something in this world that i'm trying to figure out too and as i learn in my life is
05:39i want to be who i am i don't want to be who someone else thinks i should be
05:45and i don't want to be someone that i'm comparing myself to to be similar like someone else
05:53am i even making sense
05:56my point that i'm trying to make is i'm who i am and i will change when i'm ready to change
06:07or do things when i'm ready to do things and being pressured and coerced is not the way to go
06:14anyway moving on we're playing dreamlight valley i am mining all of the rocks in all of the biomes
06:21right now i am in sunlit plateau sunlit plateau is actually my favorite biome out of all of them
06:27mostly because it's orange and orange is my favorite color
06:31and secondly because i love lions and lions and simba and nala are like this is their environment
06:39this is their habitat
06:40and of course goofy has to watch me fish thanks goofy
06:45sometimes when i try to
06:49figure out the angle for fishing in this game i can get thrown off so i apologize already if
06:56there's moments that you get frustrated with me because i can't hit the spot
07:00what's over here there's not many rock spots over here but my house is over here so
07:14let's give me some more energy by going to my house
07:16that's one awesome thing about this game is if your home is nearby
07:27you will get instant energy boost as soon as you enter it and then you can just leave again
07:32and keep taking care of business

08:07i don't remember right now which each of the colors mean
08:11they just mean that they're different fish

08:39sweet i'm actually doing really good with the fishing angle so far

08:51wow that one's far away or that fishing spot's pretty far but i think i can reach it

09:29and then sometimes i do fish in an area that has no
09:40ripples or bubbles just to see if i'll catch anything
09:43sometimes it'll be a fish and sometimes it'll just be seaweed

12:16i'm gonna go all the way down
12:17to the glade of trust
12:24and start with some mining
12:31i used to mine the glade of trust and the forest of valor a lot to collect these um iron things that you see there
12:40to craft items for quests so glade of trust i'm very familiar with all the rock spots
12:48and i'm collecting and harvesting these items now because i'll need to eat them
12:56to get more energy once i run out of energy
12:58because i usually have a lot of chill spots to regain energy in this game but sometimes i just
13:09want to eat and not have to wait because if you sit on a bench out in the valley
13:15then you have to sit there and wait for the energy to grow back
13:21if you eat something it's instant see and then if you enter your own home it's instant as well
13:28so those are the little tips tips and tricks on the energy bar
13:33i also love glade of trust for that waterfall right there and like the purple
13:39tones over the dark green tones
13:42it's just very magical foresty to me and i love it
13:46and i always hit the night thorns because you just it's an easy hit a action

16:18the villagers have random lines that they say
16:21as you approach them or become closer in their vicinity
16:24and sometimes they're really funny and sometimes it's like what the heck do you mean
16:36gotta get rid of all those mushrooms to make room so i can go fishing

16:45yeah that's one of those times i'm just hitting there we go

17:42This is when the lemons come in handy let's eat the lemons oh yeah you can also eat the
17:53fish I should have thought that before but the fish sell for a lot of coins I think so
18:02let's eat the lemons over the fish I'm catching lots of blue and yellow fish I
18:20like that I like those colors oh a blue spot this biome is also kind of dark
18:34compared to others like you don't know what you're looking at unless you've
18:41like trained yourself to know what's happening in this game otherwise it's
18:46just like a dark aura all right dark area there's one fish in that pond am I gonna
18:53reach him I am
19:06herring that's what those guys are
19:16and the rocks have spawned again so let's hit him or at least that one all
19:25right beach time dazzle beach each biome does have different types of gemstones
19:32in their rock spots so keep that in mind when you're looking things up and
19:36needing to collect certain things for quests there's a rock spot over there and
19:41there's a rock spot over here and I put a bench over here because it's also
19:45another pretty pretty location hmm somebody else is fishing on the beach
19:57so let's hit this rock spot shall we

20:18I'm a big fan of starting at one point and going a direction so we're gonna start
20:28way down here and go up the beach
20:30there much better
20:40another little herring so I guess you can catch herring all over the place
20:54in this game when you have your villagers hanging out in your valley with you
21:19you can excuse me you can assign certain activities for them to help you with to be your companion on so I do have
21:30villagers that could be my companion while I fish and while I mine they're
21:35different villagers but they get kind of crowded and I don't need the extra
21:41stuff when you do these activities with these villagers as your companion you get
21:47bonuses so you get like extra fish or extra gems which is helpful when you need
21:52more coins or when you need some more things oh yeah shrimp but at this point in
21:58the game for me I don't need a bunch of extra stuff I just want to play enjoy and
22:04relax and fail at fishing in front of all of you but not really failing it's just
22:11trying and not working and then making it work so thanks for watching the
22:17process they actually have the ocean looking like an ocean does it I mean it's a
22:29little slower the movement of the water is a little slower than a real ocean
22:33but the look and the reflection that's amazing they did amazing at this okay I
22:44still have some space left yeah let's eat the last of my lemons and then you can eat
22:55this the shellfish too and the coffee bean it tells you how much energy points it'll
23:03give you so I look at that number to make sure it's worth it to eat it because if
23:08I'm only getting like a hundred energy points that's not really worth it when I
23:11can eat something else and get like hundreds so keep that in mind
23:16also I apologize for my throat clearing um I just have some phlegm today guys I

23:46oh thank you thank you for saying that Maui I'm really getting this
23:50they change fishing in this game it used to be where you hit X every time that
24:07ring entered the inner ring when you went fishing and then they changed it where
24:11you just hold down Y the whole time so fishing has gotten easier in this game
24:18which I guess I appreciate on some level because fishing doesn't need to be that
24:22hard not as hard is that not as hard as in other games I won't name names but I
24:29think you all know if you've watched other episodes on this channel a hidden
24:36rock spot over there can't forget about that one and that one
24:41usually has gems which is awesome
24:49ooh that memory is almost complete awesome we're getting closer and closer

25:01it feels good to feel motivated to do things
25:09life just sucks but it doesn't have to suck like I'm trying to trick my brain to be
25:17like it's so easy to say life sucks but why can't it be so easy to say life is
25:21great you know because life can be great like that I just got more coins that's
25:30great this biome is the forest of valor I really like this biome a lot too because it gives me a
25:44magical forest vibes like Glade of Trust but this one has more pine trees and there's a little bit more
25:52oh and birch trees and has the stumps so it's a little bit more northern forest and
26:01southern forest you know less bog like I guess I don't know
26:08oh another treasure chest awesome
26:13oh yeah and the raccoons are over here
26:32the critters are very cute but some of them are kind of annoying especially when you want to try to
26:41increase the friendship levels and you can't catch them because they're very frustrating and they run
26:48away from you and you can't hit that approach button but as you can see I've managed to get
26:55friendships with this with the birds from Sunlit Plateau which is awesome I like having the birds as my
27:00companion oh yeah and the forest of valor has two areas now so I have even more rocks to hit yay that's
27:14one of my favorite rocks to hit because it's in such a corner that when the rocks spawn they don't go very
27:20far
27:22almost out of energy again that just sneaks up on me
27:36I like having a lot of trees in my valley because I like the forest vibe but then when I'm looking at
27:53the game and trying to navigate through things the trees get in the way
27:57so
27:59you know things just happen
28:03okay I'm gonna buy everything from her stall
28:06A because I believe it changes every day
28:09and B because I have the coins
28:12so I'm gonna buy that food and then I'm gonna eat one
28:15and it's gonna give me so much energy
28:22more energy more energy than I've ever had before yeah
28:44now that I have a bunch of stuff to sell let's get rid of it so I can make space in my inventory
28:50see those gemstones are so pretty and I actually got a lot of them
28:57bass, tuna, aquamarine, onyx, tourmaline, herring, peridot, shrimp, emerald, shiny aquamarine,

29:34I want to be able to do what work I like to do to get paid the way that I want to do

29:47I can be a team player if we have a beneficial goal
29:51but if the goal is only to make profit profit profit with no regard for anything else involved then no thank you

34:49And I've placed my trees how I like them, so where the wood spawn doesn't bug me.
