00:00The medical was last Wednesday and I know that I think fans were expecting
00:05this to be a lot quicker because when somebody kind of suggests on a Tuesday
00:11that the deal is done then why wouldn't you expect you know this to happen in
00:16the next 24 hours but these were always talking you know last Tuesday I think we
00:21reported that leads were hopeful of getting a deal concluded in the coming
00:25days they were saying over the next week at that stage on Tuesday that's
00:32because it was a more complicated deal to do than I think others will be this
00:36summer they had obviously you're dealing with a player and you're dealing with his
00:40agent you're also dealing with a club and this club was Udinese and so they had to
00:47deal with them and he had the medical on Wednesday and then the deal still wasn't
00:52finalized and finished and the paperwork wasn't done and on Friday there was one
00:57document remaining to sign and leads were hopeful that that would be signed over
01:02the weekend it wasn't it was signed on Monday and then everything was finally
01:07done I mean as well as clubs you're dealing with leagues you know and leads
01:12are dealing with the Premier League and things need to be signed off and ratified
01:15so a little bit frustrating I think from Leeds point of view that it took so long
01:19but I think the important thing was get him in the building get his name on a
01:23piece of paper and then let the rest of the paperwork take care of itself and and
