00:00A lorry attendant was killed on the spot following a collision involving two lorries
00:06at kilometre 79.9 of the North-South Expressway near Ayer Hitam on Wednesday.
00:13Ayer Hitam Fire Station Chief Mohamed Shamin Mohamed Salikin said the incident,
00:18which involved a heavy vehicle and a medium-duty truck, occurred at 8.58 a.m.
00:23A team of six firefighters, along with a fire-rapid tender vehicle, was deployed to the scene.
00:30The 26-year-old lorry attendant who was in the medium-duty truck died at the scene.
00:35Meanwhile, the 40-year-old driver of that truck, along with the 34-year-old driver of the loader,
00:41escaped uninjured.
00:43The victim's remains have since been handed over to the police for further action.
