00:00Two lorry drivers who were changing a tyre along the Pan Borneo Highway in Sabah were
00:06killed in a tragic accident on Saturday.
00:09A car lost control and hit the two victims, aged 26 and 62, at the Jalan Lama Paparkota
00:16Kinabalu at about 2pm.
00:19Police said initial investigation revealed that one of the victims had stopped on the
00:23roadside to check on his lorry tyre.
00:26They said upon seeing the situation, the other victim stopped his lorry and helped
00:30to change the tyre.
00:32They said the car driven by a 23-year-old driver travelling from Kota Kinabalu to Kimanis
00:38rammed into the victims near the lorry's right front side.
00:41The two victims died at the scene due to severe injuries.
00:45Their bodies were sent to Papa Hospital for post-mortem, while the car driver and a passenger
00:51sustained minor injuries and were being treated at the hospital.
