07:07This weapon designed by me and my team is a very very potential weapon. It's within a weight of 3.3 kg and a size of less than 800 mm. This weapon is very effective for 200 meters range and especially for close quarter battle operation which is a very very short length.
07:25It is a very, very effective weapon. The technologies wise, if I say, it is used, the forged steel technologies and one technology which is called metal injection molding that has been used pretty much in this weapon to enhance the reliability and that's why this weapon emerged as a highly reliable, highly accurate weapon across all trials.
07:47And since this weapon is now being handed over to the user by the industry selected as Bharat Forge Limited, so definitely this will give a very high boost confidence to our soldiers.
08:02And as far as, this is a 100% make-in-India weapon. It doesn't have any foreign element in this. So this will be game changer in this Atmanirwar mission of Government of India, which will make our security forces self-sufficient, self-reliance.
08:20Tomorrow, in the case of more numbers required, spares issues, which our forces are facing, this weapon, once inducted into the forces, will clear all those issues.
08:33Sir, tell us about how, you know, dangerous it can be for the enemies, this weapon, you know, if our forces use it at the battleground or maybe...
08:43Since it is a very, very lethal weapon for a 200-metre close-quarter battle operation, very accurate, very effective.
08:52So definitely the adversary forces must be under threat when our forces will be using this weapon and especially this is an indigenous self-reliant weapon.
09:02No anything, no spare issues in future. So definitely this will boost our forces' confidence.
09:09This weapon is equipped with a 30-round magazine. So definitely the earlier weapon was having 20-round magazine of this class.
09:23So now this is 30-round magazine. And the rate of fire is pretty high, more than 600 rounds per minute.
09:29So it will create a volume, heavy volume of fire in the operations.
09:35Definitely as a DRDO, we have proved that we can design an international class weapon because this weapon was chosen among the 7 to 8 international class weapons.
09:56So we have proved our design capabilities as well as our industry has also proved our manufacturing capabilities.
10:02So I would say it is a combination of both the things, design as well as manufacturing.
10:07So that is where the country is benefited.
10:12Tell us about the tests and everything which was...
10:14This weapon was tested across all terrains. I mean from hot to cold, sub-zero temperatures.
10:22So after that it could qualify the trials and then it has been recommended for induction into this...our army.
10:30So definitely and just after this you will see yourself the firing of the weapon.
10:35So you also will experience that how potent, how lethal, how effective this weapon is.
10:41Tell us about the features.
10:42Tell us about the features.
10:43Tell us about the features.
10:44Tell us about the features.
10:45How dangerous is it?
10:46How dangerous is it?
10:47How dangerous is it?
10:48How dangerous is it?
10:49I would like to tell you about this weapon that this weapon has designed our lab.
10:53And this weapon is quite effective.
10:56Because its weight is less than 3.3 kg.
10:59Its length is less than 800 meters.
11:01And its mark is less than 200 meters.
11:03It is quite effective.
11:04It is quite effective.
11:05It is quite effective.
11:06It is quite effective.
11:07So this weapon...
11:08It is quite a close quarter battle for a close battle.
11:13It is a small battle.
11:15It is a small battle.
11:16Our army had its requirements.
11:19It was about 425,000,000.
11:22And since our weapon is the highest quality and highest quality,
11:29I will say that it is a very potential weapon.
11:32It is a potential weapon.
11:33Is it firing range?
11:35How many of the weapons can fire?
11:37Which way of the weapons can fire?
11:38Which way of the weapons can fire?
11:39There is a 30 round magazine.
11:41Which is about 600 meters above its rate of fire.
11:45And all these things have been tested in trials.
11:47After this weapon has been accepted.
11:49And this weapon has been accepted.
11:50And the accuracy of this weapon is very good.
11:53Which is a weapon of a very important feature.
11:56Because the weapon is accurate.
11:58So this weapon needs to be very confident.
12:00That weapon should be very confident when they will use it in operations
12:03To use it in operations.
12:06So the weapon that is being triggered.
12:10When you say, when we start from the attack,
12:12Do you see the weapon?
12:13This weapon is got an influence in this weapon.
12:14Yes, absolutely.
12:15It increases because the soldiers have confidence.
12:19Since this has been very reliable in all trials,
12:23we will also know that they will use it tomorrow
12:26and see its reliability.
12:28So definitely, it will increase their confidence
12:31when they will take the weapon in operation.
12:34Sir, you talked about accuracy.
12:37I asked you, how much is it?
12:40How much is it?
12:42In 200 meters, this is a lot of lethal.
12:46Lethality and accuracy have come with it.
12:49The first thing is the right place.
12:52After that, it should be lethal.
12:54So, accuracy is also a part of lethal.
12:57And this is the most important thing.
13:00The whole thing is about the business.
13:03I am telling you, this is a complete weapon.
13:08I will say it is 100% in India.
13:11Because there is no other foreign component or any other component.
13:15And this is the same weapon.
13:17This is the same weapon as the other weapons.
13:19Because a British company has designed it.
13:23And a British company has manufactured it.
13:26So, this is also an appeal to you.
13:29There is an appeal to you.
13:30That a British company will use it.
13:31And the rest of you will see it.
13:32You will see it.
13:33So, you will understand the weapon as well.
13:34How much is it?
13:36You will use it.
13:37And the rest of you will see the firing of it.
13:39So, you will understand the weapon as well.
13:41How much is it?
13:42What is it?
13:43How much will it be?
13:44What is it?
13:45How much is it?
13:46I do not know which one.
13:47What is it?
13:48I do not know.
13:49Oh dear, I would like to have a little bit more.
