00:30especially for China, the major hub for manufacturing of the world.
00:34China recorded 6% growth in 2024,
00:38and we are talking about the numbers for 2025,
00:41especially in light of trade protectionism
00:44and also the trade war that's currently happening.
00:48And at the same time, we've seen a lot of geopolitical tensions
00:50has caused a lot of trouble in the international level.
00:54How does China facing these difficulties
00:56and how does it impact manufacturing as a whole?
01:00China has to use the pressure of the trade war
01:06as a driver for industrial upgrading.
01:12In some areas where there are gaps in the chain,
01:17China has to fill those gaps and upgrade them.
01:20There's a lot to be done there.
01:21As it's been said,
01:24there's a process of on-shoring or re-shoring going on
01:28of industrial chains.
01:31Now, parts of the chain have been forced to return to China
01:37that were once located outside the country.
01:42So that's what they call re-shoring.
01:44near-shoring, on the other hand,
01:48means that in order to avoid tariff barriers or shocks,
01:54certain important parts of the chain,
01:56in particular assembly, are moved to nearby countries.
02:00So that's a process of near-shoring.
02:02So, when shoring up the value chains,
02:08China has to work in that way
02:12to ensure the ongoing stability of the industry chains
02:16so that there's a stable environment
02:18for Chinese industry generally.
02:21So China's evolving strategy
02:24in search of resilience
02:25and also changing their supply chains
02:28has set a new rules to the world.
02:32From World Economic Forum,
02:34the annual meeting
02:34of new champions
02:36from Tianjin, China
02:38for Awanit International.
