00:00The Feast of Corpus Christi, a celebration of His infinite love.
00:05The Church celebrates the solemnity of Corpus Christi, the most holy body and blood of Christ.
00:10It is a day set apart in honor of the unfathomable gift of the Eucharist,
00:14Jesus Himself, given entirely for us, body, blood, soul, and divinity.
00:21On the night before He suffered, Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and said,
00:26This is My body, given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me. Luke 22.19
00:32He took the chalice and declared, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which will be poured out for you. Luke 22.20
00:40In those sacred words, Jesus instituted the Eucharist, not a symbol, but a living reality.
00:47He knew that we would need more than words and memories. We would need Him, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
00:53The Feast of Corpus Christi is a celebration of love that becomes food, the God who hungers to be united with His children.
01:02Love drove Him to Calvary, and love compels Him to remain with us under the appearance of bread and wine.
01:08He thirsted from the cross, not for water, but for souls. I thirst.
01:13His thirst is not quenched until each soul knows they are loved, sought after, and held by Him.
01:22At every Mass we stand on Calvary, beneath the cross.
01:26Jesus the Lamb of God offers Himself again, not in pain, but in sacramental mystery.
01:31The same body that was torn and pierced, the same blood that flowed from His sacred side,
01:37is offered to us in quiet humility.
01:38As St. John testifies, one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear,
01:44and at once blood and water came out.
01:47John 19, 34
01:48The Church was born from His wounded heart, and the Eucharist is the lifeblood that sustains her.
01:56This feast invites us to approach Jesus not with routine, but with awe, hunger, and love.
02:02He sees each of us not as one among many, but as the only one.
02:06If you were the only soul on earth, He still would have endured Gethsemane's sorrow,
02:11the scourging, the nails, and the hill of Calvary, for you.
02:16As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.
02:19John 15-9
02:21So come to Him, receive Him, let Him love you in this most intimate way.
02:28Let your heart rest in His Eucharistic heart.
02:30For in the Sacred Host, we do not receive something, we receive someone,
02:36and in Him we have everything.
