00:09Now, the rumors are that they're going to take a huge swing at Marner as well.

00:14So there's talk that Carolina is going to –

00:16and honestly, I think that would be a great spot for him

00:18because after being in Toronto, he probably needs somewhere

00:21where he can go into witness protection program

00:23and just not have any media bothering him for a long time and just play hockey.

00:26It would probably be a good thing for Mitch.

00:27But I don't think he's going to sign there,

00:29and I can't believe either even if they do that they're favorites again.

00:33Yeah, I've always talked about Carolina,

00:35and the thing that I've always said about them is like they're a really good team.

00:37Like they are, but they may not be a great team.

00:40And until they can prove that they can beat the Panthers,

00:45like that's always going to be an issue for me.

00:46And even like you could say, you know, my Rangers, I don't want to be too biased,

00:50but like the Canes have also struggled to get past the Rangers.

00:54So if the Rangers do retool in the offseason and bounce back,

00:56that's just another team in front of them.

00:58So they have to get past the Rangers and they have to get past the Panthers

01:01and they have to get past, you know, maybe a resurgent Bruins team or still Tampa.

01:05So there's too many roadblocks in front of them for me to have them as a favorite.

01:08Now, listen, if you offer me the Canes at 17 to 1,

01:11I could talk myself into that, but not at 7 to 1.
