00:00As we flip to next year, you see the odds.
00:02The Carolina Hurricanes now at a 7-1 price, but right behind them again,
00:06the Florida Panthers at plus 750 and the Edmonton Oilers at plus 750.
00:10So if we look at those odds and just use the top teams,
00:12and I'm going to focus on the teams that just met once again in the Stanley Cup final.
00:16If I gave you one of those teams at a price, plus 750 on Florida, plus 750 on Edmonton,
00:22if you were to bet one of those teams, who gets back to the Stanley Cup final and why between those?
00:26Donnie, I would even take Edmonton at plus, or sorry, Florida at plus 300.
00:30I wouldn't touch Edmonton with a 10-foot pole.
00:33I'm not even sure if Connor McDavid, he's coming up to his last year of his contract here.
00:37I'm not even sure he's going to be out there on the ice.
00:39And you look at this Florida Panthers team, as long as they hold on to their core,
00:43I do think this team is just built to win the Stanley Cup.
00:48Now, they might have a slower season, make it into the playoffs,
00:51not have that big push where we saw, you know, the Winnipeg Jets.
00:55They have just that fantastic season.
00:58The Florida Panthers, no, they can't go out, they can't play that style of hockey all season long.
01:03They love to wear down their opponents, and I do think we have every ability of seeing them get back there.
01:08So I take the Florida Panthers at plus 750.
01:11I think it's ridiculous that the Carolina Hurricanes are at the top.
01:15They're at plus 700.
01:16Got to be honest there, they come out of the Metro, so maybe they do have the easiest path.
01:20But I look at the Carolina Hurricanes, this is a team that always struggles in the playoffs.
01:25I don't see next year being any different with their goaltending
01:28and with their lack of ability to really win out there on the road this season.
01:33I think those hiccups will roll into next.
