00:00The New South Wales budget is almost here. It's coming out on Tuesday, June 24. Well,
00:05what does that mean? Well, the politicians that we've elected at the state level are going to
00:09decide how they're going to be spending our money. We've spoken to the MPs for Bathurst,
00:16Orange and Dubbo to get their views on what they want to see happen in their respective electorates.
00:21So let's go find out what they want. First MP we're going to look at is Phil Donato. He's the
00:27member for Orange. Number one focus is new critical water infrastructure for Cabon,
00:32Forbes and Lachlan. We all know those were those areas were smashed by those floods back in 2022
00:38and he wants to see some significant funding to those areas to get that infrastructure
00:42for those areas back in place. Now, Paul Toole, he's the member for Bathurst. Looking at what Paul
00:48wants for the Bathurst electorate, his big thing he'll be pushing for in the budget is more parking
00:52up at the Bathurst hospital. For anyone that lives in Bathurst, we know how not great the situation for
00:59parking is up at Bathurst hospital. Now, Dougal Saunders is the MP for Dubbo. So Mr Saunders,
01:05big push for the budget is of course the Dubbo sports hub. It's been a project that's been in the
01:11works for some time now, but unfortunately for the Dubbo community last year, funding was pulled from the
01:16project by the government, but he's hoping that that money can come back and then that project can
01:22happen again in the near future.
