00:00My name is Javed and I'm a student. I would like to ask a question. At one place, the Holy Quran states that man is created from sperm, which is in conciliated with modern science.
00:15But at another place, it also states that man is made from dust. Now, isn't the Holy Quran contradicting itself or is it conciliated with modern science?
00:26Yes, the brother calls the question that one place the Holy Quran says that human beings have been created from sperm, which consists of modern science.
00:37The other place, human beings are created from dust. Can you prove it scientifically it's created from dust?
00:42And isn't there a contradiction? One place sperm, one place it says dust.
00:48The Holy Quran does say, as I mentioned in my talk, in Surah Qiyama, chapter 75.
00:56Verse number 37 to 39. It says that human beings have been created from sperm, which has been proved by science.
01:05The Holy Quran also says in Surah Hajj, chapter 22, verse number 5, that we have created the human beings from a quintessence of dust.
01:13Today's science tells us that all the elements that are there in the human body, they are present in lesser or greater quantity in the soil, in the earth.
01:27So the statement that human beings have been created from earth is scientifically proven.
01:35That whatever components are there in the human body, the constituent, the elements, they are present in the earth, in the soil, in lesser or greater proportion.
01:45The second part of the question, isn't it a contradiction?
01:47One place the Quran says man is created from sperm, one says from dust.
01:52Isn't it a contradiction?
01:54See, a contradiction is two statements which are conflicting with each other, which cannot take place simultaneously.
02:04The Quran does not only say man has been created from sperm and the other place from dust.
02:09It also says, in Surah Furkan, chapter 25, verse 54, that man has been created from water.
02:18You will tell me there are three contradictions.
02:21See, science has proven that man has been created from dust, as well as from sperm, as well as from water.
02:28If I tell you, in one statement, that to make a cup of tea, I require water.
02:35In the second statement, I say, to make a cup of tea, I require tea leaves or tea powder.
02:43It's not a contradiction.
02:44I require both.
02:46If I want to make sweet tea, I add sugar to it.
02:49If I want to make panikam tea, I add less water and more milk.
02:54If I want to make sulaymani tea, I add only water.
02:58So, there is no contradiction when the Quran says, human being is created from sperm and dust and water.
03:08It is actually contradistinction.
03:11What is the meaning of contradistinction?
03:13Contradistinction means speaking two or more things about a subject, which are not conflicting with each other.
03:19For example, if I say that this man, he is honest, he is kind and loving, it is contradistinction.
03:29But if I say this man is always a liar and a truthful person, then it is contradiction.
03:35Because both are opposing.
03:36If it is not opposing, it is called as contradistinction.
03:38Contradistinction.
03:49The next question from the ladies section.
03:53As-salamu alaykum, brother.
03:55My name is Farida Ansari.
03:57I am a laboratory technician.
04:00Quran says, Allah is the creator of the human being.
04:04Does science agree with it?
04:06Yes.
04:08The sister pose a question.
04:12The Quran mentions that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the creator of the human beings.
04:16Does science agree with it?
04:18And Quran says in several places, including the last verse of the embryological stages, that is Surah Muminun, chapter 23, verse number 14, that Allah is the best to create.
04:30Can we prove it scientifically that Allah is the creator?
04:36Quran gives the answer.
04:37Quran gives the answer in Surah Toor, chapter 52, verse number 35.
04:43It poses a question.
04:46That were you created from nothing?
04:48See, the Arabic word used for creator in all the verses of the Quran is khaliq.
04:55It is derived from the Arabic word khaliqa.
04:59Arabic word khaliqa has got four meanings.
05:02One meaning is to create something from nothing.
05:06Without any previous example.
05:08That's only possible for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
05:10Second meaning of khaliqa is to create something new from pre-existing material.
05:17The third meaning is of khaliqa, programming or planning.
05:21And the last meaning is to make smooth.
05:25So Quran poses a question in Surah Toor, chapter 52, verse 35, that were you created from nothing?
05:33But naturally the answer is negative.
05:34No.
05:35Human beings aren't created from nothing.
05:37They pose the next question.
05:38Were you the creators or we the creators?
05:45We know very well that man cannot create another man.
05:49If you could do that, in the moment he died, you would have created himself back.
05:53If his relatives would have died, you would have brought them back to life.
05:57Human beings can't even create a living creature such as fly, live as a human being.
06:03Neither can you attribute the organs of the body, say the reproductive organs,
06:08like testes or ovaries, that they are the cause for a creation.
06:11Because if you say that the testes, the uterus, etc. are the cause,
06:16then you have to include your ancestors.
06:18Their reproductive system, their ancestors, their ancestors, all are responsible.
06:22So the answer is negative.
06:24Quran poses the next question in Surah Vaqya, chapter 56, verse number 58 and 59,
06:32that do you not look at the sperm you have emitted?
06:36Were you the creator or we the creator?
06:41And but natural, all these questions that Quran poses, the answer is negative.
06:46Some people can say it's by chance.
06:50By chance you were created.
06:52They say nature, nature.
06:54Natural thing.
06:54It happened by chance.
06:55Let's analyze scientifically whether the human beings can be created by chance.
06:59The protein molecule is a very important structure of the living cell.
07:09Very important part in the living structure of the cell.
07:13The protein molecule consists of five elements.
07:16The carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen and sulfur.
07:21And there are tens and thousands of atoms required to make one molecule.
07:29One atom has five elements.
07:32Carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen and sulfur.
07:36There are tens of thousands of atoms which make one protein molecule.
07:39And there are approximately 92 free elements.
07:46The chances that out of these 92, the five will form an atom.
07:50And these atoms will form tens and thousands of atoms to form one protein molecule was calculated
07:56by Frank Alien.
07:58And he said the chances are 1 in 10 raised to 160.
08:04You know what is the meaning of 1 in 10 raised to 160?
08:07If I say 1 in 10 raised to 2, 10 raised to 2 means 1, 0, 0, 2 zeros.
08:121 in 100.
08:13Chances 1%.
08:14If I say 1 in 10 raised to 3, it means 1 in 1000.
08:21That's 0.1%.
08:22If I say 1 in 10 raised to 4, it means 1 in 10,000.
08:26Means 0.01%.
08:27Means 0.01%.
08:29So when the calculation was made, 1 in 10 raised to 160, it means 0.0000, 157 zeros, then
08:381.
08:40And mathematics tells anything 1 in 10 raised to 50, it's counted as 0.
08:46Furthermore, this is talking about one molecule.
08:50And the substance required to form this one molecule of protein was calculated by another
08:57person, Charles Guy.
09:00That it will require millions of times of substance as huge as our galaxies.
09:08Millions of galaxies will require to form this one molecule of protein.
09:12And the time was calculated by Charles Guy.
09:15The time taken for one protein molecule to be formed will be 10 raised to 263 years.
09:21You know what is that?
09:221, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0.
09:24263 zeros.
09:26It will take to form one protein molecule.
09:29And do you know there are how many protein molecules in one cell?
09:32And do you know how many other molecules are there in the cell?
09:36And how many cells are there in the human being?
09:39There are more than 6 billion molecules when a child is born.
09:43That's what doctors tell us today.
09:456 billion.
09:47One protein molecule takes 1 in 10 raised to 160 chances.
09:52Time taken is 10 raised to 263 years.
09:58To take 6 billion for one baby, imagine.
10:01And how many women are pregnant?
10:03There are millions of women pregnant at a time.
10:05And it takes only 9 months.
10:07The chances, science tells us, is 0, 0, 0.
10:11No chance at all.
10:13These things cannot take by chance.
10:16They have to be programmed by someone.
10:19Science tells us, there has to be someone.
10:26Some supernatural force.
10:28Therefore, science, as I said earlier, is not eliminating God.
