00:09Thank you for being with us here on France 24.

00:13Is Israel at war with Iran?

00:17Israel is taking out Iran's nuclear program and Iran's ballistic missile program.

00:23We're doing this 30 years after Iran embarked on this and killed many, many Israelis, many Europeans, Americans all across the world.

00:36So, yes, we are hitting Iran until we ensure that it has no more nuclear program.

00:44Do you consider this a war?

00:46This is a very different kind of confrontation as we saw with non-state actors like Hamas and Hezbollah.

00:55Well, Iran has waged war against Israel for decades now through proxies.

01:01So it's sort of this octopus who sends its arms all across the world to Madrid, to Buenos Aires, to America, to Lebanon, Gaza, you name it.

01:14And it's time that we hit the octopus on its head as opposed to just continue fighting its arms.

01:22So Iran started this, started this war years ago.

01:26Now it's time to end it.

01:29What's the next step in this?

01:31We heard the Israeli Prime Minister saying it's an operation that will take as many days as it takes.

01:39Is it a matter of days or is it something longer?

01:42As much time as we need.

01:45We're going to continue until we degrade and degrade the nuclear military program.

01:50I want to be very clear here.

01:53Iran has acquired enough highly enriched uranium for 10 nuclear warheads.

02:00There's no civilian use for that uranium, only for nuclear warheads.

02:04Iran has explicitly said, including just a month ago, its leader said that it wants to destroy Israel.

02:11Iran has been killing Israelis through Gaza, through Lebanon and Hezbollah, and all across the world.

02:18Now, enough is enough.

02:20We gave all the warnings in the world.

02:22We're going to continue until we're done with this.
