Logic premiered his first film, Paradise Records at the Tribeca Festival at the Village East Cinema in New York City Friday night. The Grammy-nominated musician told us all about the no-holds-barred comedy which he wrote, directed, produced and stars in. We also got to chat with Clerks writer and director, Kevin Smith who edited the movie as well as served as executive producer. ' Paradise Records is just an absolute blissful day in the life,' he told us, 'Funny as hell. Make people happy.' The film follows Cooper (played by Logic) as a record store owner on the brink of foreclosure, fighting to save his beloved shop and the livelihoods of his motley crew of entertaining employees. Keep tuned in to LifeMinute.TV for daily coverage of the fest running from June 4-15.

00:00Hey, what's up? It's Logic Bobby Biracial, and you're watching Live Minute TV. Peace out.
00:08We're here because I spent millions and millions of dollars on a film that I hope doesn't flop.
00:14So we'll see.
00:16I want everybody to stop being so f***ing uptight and just laugh. It's not that deep.
00:20Nobody is the butt of the film. Doesn't matter if you're black or you're gay or you're this or you're that.
00:24We make fun of everybody, but nobody is ever the butt of the joke.
00:27It's more about the ignorance behind certain statements, and I just wanted to write real people with real dialogue and have a good time.
00:36Paradise Records is just an absolutely blissful day in your life. Funny as hell. Make people happy.
00:43I got to edit it. I was an exec producer on the movie, but I was also the editor.
00:48Bobby, a born filmmaker. Can't wait for everyone to see him in this light.
00:53They know him as one thing, now they're going to see him as something else.
00:55Love working with Logic, aka Bobby. He just allows you to kind of be yourself, and he trusts you as an artist, you know?
01:04Most of the time, you work with a rapper that good, you don't expect him to be able to sing, much less be able to write and be amazing on camera.
01:13Whenever I travel, I have pictures of my family, and I set it up wherever I go.
01:16Your kids, your friends, your family, it's all that matters.
01:20Every single person that I know, and I know these people, and they make me happy.
