Air India plane crash: Everybody wants answers as to what happened, former pilot claims

Former Airline Pilot Emma Henderson has claimed there is a "good chance" the black box on board the craft can be recovered from the crash site.Speaking to GB News, Henderson claimed that the condition of the back end of the aircraft appears to be in a condition where the box can be removed intact.FULL STORY HERE.

00:00in the video that we have seen of this of this plane in its final moments these flaps to your

00:05trained eye looked like they were in the wrong position they do to my they from what i can see

00:11in the video they do look in the wrong position the gear is definitely down the nose is definitely

00:16higher than i would expect to see um so yeah but you know obviously as always with these things

00:23you know what i have also seen is a photo of the tail plane of the aircraft in a building

00:27which means that the black box yeah there's always the black box that's the key to these things

00:32and um and that's kept in the aft of the of the aircraft so that that likely i've seen exactly

00:38the photo that you're referring to um it's likely given that sort of rear end of the plane is intact

00:46or at least as intact as it is as it could be stuck in half of the building that that would mean in

00:51in your view that the black box hasn't disintegrated would be recoverable

00:57there's a very good chance of that being the case it should be the case i mean i would expect

01:01the investigation teams to be in possession of that now and be looking at it because of course

01:06what everybody wants and particularly you know for the families who've so tragically lost so many

01:12people um they want answers as to what has happened to their loved ones and and in aviation we want

01:19answers to make sure that we know what's happened so that instantly things will be put in place to

01:25make sure that can't happen again so aviation always learns from these terrible tragedies and

01:30the way we learn is to find out that information which is stored in the black box the cockpit voice

01:35recorder all of that is is is stored there and will be extracted so that literally it's like putting

01:43a jigsaw puzzle together so all the pieces will be placed together so that we can see a full picture

01:50of what happened between the moment that aircraft took off and the moment it crashed into the ground
