00:26Richardson could be a sustainable and successful starting quarterback entering his third NFL season

00:32and Mark Zeno according to the odds makers he might not even be the starting quarterback

00:36entering his third season come week number one Daniel Jones now the favorite on fan duel at minus

00:43166 to be that week one starter for the Colts Zeno ultimately when this quarterback battle is decided

00:50who's starting the season opener for Indy it's going to be Daniel Jones I mean look

00:55it's obvious at this point in time the Colts realized the flyer they took on Anthony Richardson

01:01was a mistake they wouldn't have brought somebody else in who's a starting caliber quarterback if

01:08they had thought otherwise right regardless of how good Daniel Jones is or isn't he's a starting

01:13caliber quarterback in this league he's one of 32 guys who has the capability to start again it's not

01:19a high level starter it's not very good I know that personally I watched a lot of it I sat through

01:23some of it I cried often but nonetheless this is what Daniel Jones is he can start in this league

01:29and he's there simply because the Colts are trying to hang on to this thing called Anthony Richardson

01:34for as long as they can to keep the egg off their face which I do not understand I will always give

01:40credit to the Arizona Cardinals they drafted Josh Rosen they knew about six games and it didn't work

01:46they punted on the experiment drafted a new quarterback and got him right out of town

01:49fine totally okay like it's it's okay to say we made a mistake cut bait and get out no teams want

01:56to do that the Falcons won't do it with Kirk Cousins this goes on and on all the time instead

02:01of just cutting bait moving on from a bad decision they want to make this thing hang on and last and

02:06hover over the organization like there's some chance this could work out we all know Anthony

02:10Richardson is not a starter in the NFL right now here's the question that I want to ask and post you

02:16here Mark when you take a look at Anthony Richardson because let's just say three weeks ago Ben and I had

02:20this conversation where it was like no matter what it looks like in training camp if Anthony

02:24Richardson is healthy he will be the day one starting quarterback because they're just trying to give

02:28him one final look to see go through an all season command the huddle win some football games in

02:33September let's see what happens so that looks like we're not even going to get to that point so is

02:37this a part where like Daniel Jones might be a little bit shaky and they're under 500 then you put

02:42Richardson back in or could this be quite possibly like we're just never going to go back to this

02:46kid and even give any hope because what are we going to do this every single year till we finally get a

02:50look at the guy six years into the NFL what is the future for Anthony Richardson this season in

02:55Indianapolis I mean it's down Jones job to put a fork and did the Anthony Richardson

02:59experiment right that's his sole purpose is to play good enough for 17 games keep you close to a

03:06postseason birth if not getting the postseason and forget the you know eliminate the Anthony

03:12Richardson experiment now if Daniel Jones plays oh I've seen Daniel Jones play at times the door is

03:18going to be open for Anthony Richardson to get back in this thing and yes that's what the Colts are

03:22going to do because they're going to hang on they're going to try to squeeze every last ounce of juice out

03:26of this lemon to see what they have from it in order to say that hey we tried everything we could

03:32you know we looked at every option we gave him multiple opportunities it just didn't work out

03:36you already know the answer it doesn't work out but uh Dale Jones is there it's his job
