00:00You can call the Indiana Pacers many things throughout this magical playoff run.
00:05The underdog winners, the comeback and cardiac kids, and now DRS,
00:11the team that has a lead in the NBA Finals.
00:14A 2-1 series advantage for Indiana, hosting an NBA Finals game for the first time
00:20in two and a half decades last night inside Cambridge Fieldhouse.
00:25And yet, despite the good tidings of being home in Indy and being on their own home floor,
00:31the Pacers were a five and a half point home underdog.
00:34But that's why the underdog winners have other ideas,
00:38defying the expectations throughout the entirety of this postseason
00:42for yet another outright win, 116-107, last night in game number three
00:49to take that 2-1 series advantage over Oklahoma City.
00:53Again, the Thunder, a five and a half point favorite entering game three.
00:57A total of 226 that worked its way down throughout the day does stay under.
01:04OKC had a five point lead entering the fourth and final quarter,
01:08but that is where Tyrese Halliburton, Pascal Siakam, and now add-in Benedict Batherin
01:13have been doing most of their damage throughout this playoff run.
01:17The Pacers win the fourth and most important quarter by 14 total points
01:22for a seven point win in game three and a 2-1 series lead in the 2025 NBA Finals.
01:28Credit to the Pacers, man.
01:30Again, stealing game number one.
01:32Stealing game number one then on their home court here, up 2-1 in the series.
01:35And we'll get to those prices in just a little bit.
01:37But I always talk about this, Ben.
01:39When you need good performances, you can always lean on your bench,
01:42typically at home, more so than on the road.
01:44Obi Toppin at the good game number one, not so good at game number two.
01:48Comes back with some energy and how about a plus 18 with eight points
01:51and six rebounds in the game last night, four for eight from the floor.
01:54And then you take a look at Benedict Batherin, as you pointed out,
01:5627 total points off the bench.
01:58TJ McConnell was absolutely all over the place last night.
02:02Ten points, five assists, and five steals.
02:04So many clutch moments for him last night because why?
02:07Feeding off the home crowd.
02:08And every time he did something big here, chanting at the crowd,
02:11holding his hand up to his ear, like, I can't hear you right now.
02:14The energy was tremendous from the bench guys last night.
02:17And you take a look at the starting lineup.
02:18You only got seven from Neesmith.
02:19You only got nine from Miles Turner.
02:21Nembhard, eight points here.
02:22Siakam was still doing the things that you love to see him do all over the place.
02:2621 points here, four assists, six rebounds, two steals, and a block.
02:29And then you finally, which I was calling for, Tyrese Halliburton,
02:32start knocking some three-point shots down here.
02:34He did that last night and hit some clutch moments.
02:36But for me, it was the bench.
02:38It was the energy that you expect to get from the home crowd here to feed off of.
02:42And they did exactly that in their victory last night.
