00:00Let's begin with Hunter Dobbins because the story came out where he had talked about never

00:05wanting to play for the Yankees. He'd rather retire. The whole thing with his dad was then

00:09fact-checked and turns out not true. Here was Hunter Dobbins kind of responding to that when

00:16asked about it by the media. They're based off of my personal experiences and nothing to do with

00:23growing up or family. And also it was a rivalry so we're just having some fun. Jazz got into it

00:29too and we had a good time about it. The whole backstory you know stuff that I had heard growing

00:35up and you know seen pictures of and you know from my dad so at the end of the day it's just from my

00:42dad and what I kind of grew my love for the game but at the end of the day I don't go and fact-check

00:46my dad or anything like that. What? I get it. My dad is a habitual liar. I get it. What pictures would

00:54you see of him not playing for the team? Well I'd see him playing baseball so his dad probably you

00:58know sprinkled a little um you know just a little bit of that a little a little bit of that salt on

01:05it. Yeah just a little bit. If you didn't see him actually playing in the big leagues. No but he

01:11probably saw him playing for the minor leagues. Right we've all played baseball. I'm saying that

01:15you know minor leagues is different. He might have said you know and maybe he was in a jersey for

01:19Arizona. There is nothing a player can do that Wiggy would just not rubber stamp. No no but he as a kid

01:24his dad probably said yeah hey I this is I played for you know I got drafted by the Yankees but then

01:30I ended up in Arizona in the diamonds back organization. I don't even I um I know I'm

01:37always accused of kissing Wiggy's ass but like I feel bad for this guy like that's embarrassing

01:43that he said that then everybody media checked him and he's now has to stand up for his dad. Nobody

01:48wants that. Imagine you tell James a little lie and you know 20 years down the road he says it to

01:53the media. Yeah he bent the truth a little bit that's it. Who's lying to their kids about what

01:58they know? Maybe like Curtis is like James you know your dad won a Marconi and then you know 20

02:06years down the road James is a big wig at CBS and he says oh yeah my dad oh my how'd you get into it

02:12my dad won a Marconi and then they find out. I was on a show where the host won a Marconi. This guy's

02:18dad was never in the major leagues. Okay well. No but he played professional baseball. So he played

02:23for a minor league club. So that's how he brings the truth. That's like saying I acted in high school

02:27and I'm like George Clooney.
