Local residents and businesses have raised concerns with me in relation to

ongoing issues on the site, particularly around cleanliness, around access to

toilets, illegal parking, etc. Based on the new entrance that we have there

in Alchemy and EY and also the events that you've just spoken about, it's

really important that that site is clean and safe for everybody that shares it.

What is your department doing to ensure that the site is safe and welcoming?

Thank you. As I've said, we've invested £37 million in the site and when we were up

a number of times since we took these offices, I have to say I thought

Edmonton Square was looking really, really well. We visited the hotel there, looked

around it, the new buildings in Edmonton Plaza are absolutely amazing. They're

really cutting-edge, fit-for-purpose in the modern world buildings and we look

forward to the site being filled with those workers, with those visitors. I know

that the events have been hugely successful there as well. So I am very

proud of what we've achieved in Edmonton. Of course the issues that she has raised,

those must be and continue to be addressed. I had asked about any of the

antisocial or other issues on the site and I have been assured that there is a

very, very low levels of any at all in terms of problems that would encounter the PSNI.

So I think it's a really positive message. It's a strong, safe, welcoming to all site

and I really encourage visitors and locals to use it alike.
