00:00Local residents and businesses have raised concerns with me in relation to
00:05ongoing issues on the site, particularly around cleanliness, around access to
00:11toilets, illegal parking, etc. Based on the new entrance that we have there
00:16in Alchemy and EY and also the events that you've just spoken about, it's
00:22really important that that site is clean and safe for everybody that shares it.
00:27What is your department doing to ensure that the site is safe and welcoming?
00:33Thank you. As I've said, we've invested £37 million in the site and when we were up
00:39a number of times since we took these offices, I have to say I thought
00:43Edmonton Square was looking really, really well. We visited the hotel there, looked
00:47around it, the new buildings in Edmonton Plaza are absolutely amazing. They're
00:52really cutting-edge, fit-for-purpose in the modern world buildings and we look
00:56forward to the site being filled with those workers, with those visitors. I know
01:01that the events have been hugely successful there as well. So I am very
01:05proud of what we've achieved in Edmonton. Of course the issues that she has raised,
01:09those must be and continue to be addressed. I had asked about any of the
01:14antisocial or other issues on the site and I have been assured that there is a
01:18very, very low levels of any at all in terms of problems that would encounter the PSNI.
01:24So I think it's a really positive message. It's a strong, safe, welcoming to all site
01:29and I really encourage visitors and locals to use it alike.
