00:00Hi, I'm Hazel from NHS Blood and Transplant and I've just done a lot of blood type tests on the Mayor of Warsaw.

00:07She's O positive which is fantastic because her blood type can go to any blood type for patients.

00:14Hi, my name is Marie-Claire Coffey. I am the founder of Plasma of Hope, a foundation that supports people with sickle cell disease.

00:24So we have in partnership with NHS BT and the Warsaw Manor Hospital who put this event together and we sent an invite to the Lord Mayor.

00:33And it was an absolute pleasure to have her with us today and she's found out what her blood type is.

00:39This week is National Blood Week. It will be saving many lives by just knowing what your blood type is and registering also to donate blood.

00:49So thank you so much for being part of this event.
